New Vice Chancellor of ABSU laments poor academic ranking

The new Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, ABSU, Prof. Uche Ikonne lamented about the university’s poor ranking and promised to improve its national and international ranking.
Addressing the academic and non-academic staff members of the University at the auditorium, Prof. Ikonne said:

“The ranking of universities by the national and international community underscores this point and it’s a veritable index for measuring the achievements of any or successive university administrations”.
