Chiwetel Ejiofor & Audu Maikori star in ‘Win The Right Way’

Chivas Regal, the world's first luxury whisky, today debuts 'Win the Right Way', a key feature of its global campaign championing social entrepreneurs, based on the conviction that business can and must be force for good.
With this latest instalment of the Live with Chivalry campaign, the Nigerian edition of ‘Win the right Way’  features Oscar-nominee, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and social entrepreneur and President, Chocolate City Group, Audu Maikori.  These eminent advocates introduce entrepreneurs from around the world who show a devotion to achieving social good from enterprise.

Speaking about the campaign, Chiwetel Ejiofor stated: "I cannot think of a more invaluable way to show appreciation to entrepreneurs who do such extraordinary social good by combining commercial goals with endeavors that address the needs of our communities and the aspirations of ordinary people. In a world in which people matter, we must continue to align social objectives with profit motives.  I am truly excited to see that there are so many entrepreneurs across the globe actively engaged in bringing value to needy communities through their work in enterprise."

In the meantime, Chivas Regal's commitment to promoting those who would use enterprise as a force for good is taken much further with 'The Venture', an international enterprise fund dedicated to providing $1million in seed or growth funding to social entrepreneurs, as well as to providing global exposure for successful ideas or enterprises, and supporting enterprise leaders with world-class business mentors.

Five finalists emerged from the recent elimination rounds of The Venture.  They will be vying for the number one slot as Nigerian winner, thereby gaining the chance to represent Nigeria in a week-long, entrepreneur training-camp in Silicon Valley, California, which will feature 26 national representatives, in a battle for a share of the $1 million enterprise fund.

Audu Maikori, Head of the Panel of Judges, says of The Venture, "We know that the desire to make a difference in the lives of others through one's work is real and meaningful to a new generation of entrepreneurs – young men and women who believe that business can be a force for good. We too share this belief and are committed to championing it.  The Venture is Chivas Regal’s platform for demonstrating a commitment to promoting this worthy ideal and a further chance to show what it means to Live with Chivalry."
