Bayelsa Polls: Photo of one of the people killed in Oporoma

Four people were killed, several others injured today in Oporoma, headquarters of Southern Ijaw when some party thugs led by ex-militant leader, Ogunboss, opened fire on the local government to distrupt the distribution of election materials. According to the source, the shots were fired to scare the people and pave way for the carrying away of the election materials but the attack was repelled by security operatives attached to the area.

  21. That's Bayelsa for you. It's there way. I was there during presidential and State Assembly elections. The people there, especially most of the young boys, are still leaving in the past.
