President Jonathan along with US Congresswoman Karen Bass who is the ranking member on the Sub-committee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights were the special guests at the university event entitled, ‘Elections and constitutions in Africa: A Timely issue.’ Jonathan encouraged the youths to embrace civil education stressing that such knowledge would help sustain democracies, and equip youths with the relevant tools that they need to become responsible citizens.
The former President’s speech touched on various aspects of leadership and Jonathan further expressed his pleasure for the opportunity to speak at the same Howard University that educated Nigeria’s first President, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.
He thanked the institution for the culture of instilling democratic culture in youths. He further described Africa as the “bright continent adding that stability and good governance are key factors
for peace and development on the continent.
Jonathan admires his 58th birthday cake presented by the staff and students of Howard university

ReplyDeleteKudos to him. He should keep flying high. Linda take note!
ReplyDeleteYou see how this man is enjoying global respect and honour simply because he put the wish of the Nigerian populace over his personal ambition?
ReplyDeleteFor that singular altruistic action, Mr Jonathan has written his name with a golden pen on the sand of time.
Sincerely speaking the mind of Amadioha

ReplyDeleteits insulting to this country seeing/reading unserious people celebrating this-waster,this rogue-dirty looking Jonathan who looted all Nigeria's savings-he &his yeye Patience&cronies-ole
ReplyDeleteYou are a very stupid man for calling Jonathan a rogue and waster. Mind you Vox populist, Vox Dei. The voice of the people is the voice of God. You are not more than the millions around the world who have recognized him as an icon. Most especially. When your kindred does not even know you are existing. Big fool.
DeleteYou and your generation are rouges.... Since you don't like good thing, it will be far from u. People will turn ur good to bad. Idiot, u can equally kiss a transformer! GEJ is a celebrated man in Africa and the world at large, ur hate can't stop him.

ReplyDeleteLinda keep forcing GEJ down our throats. Your definition of "hero" "icon" etc is very twisted...u should buy urself a modern dictionary
ReplyDeleteLinda pls stop promoting diz good 4nothing criminal, who has destroy our country milk our resources dry....he has created a lot of mess which our Amiable president sai Baba buhari is trying so hard to fix......diz man should never b celebrated bcus he is a criminal and a terrorist
ReplyDeleteDiz looks fake....u can't fool me
I think it was staged to mk diz bastard look important
For you to call Jonathan bastard , then it pays to be a bastard. You that have your father known to your family, how close will you and your generation get to the Grand children of Jonathan.
DeleteSo Jonathan is a bastard?? Wow! People are so myopic! Buhari is amiable president??? Hahaha...
DeleteThe level of stupidity U possess cannot be quantified. GO and get some sense!!! Buhari is an ass hole.
So Jonathan is a bastard?? Wow! People are so myopic! Buhari is amiable president??? Hahaha...

So Jonathan is a bastard?? Wow! People are so myopic! Buhari is amiable president??? Hahaha...
DeleteThe level of stupidity U possess cannot be quantified. GO and get some sense!!!
So much greatness in him
ReplyDeleteOnly a man with his level of integrity can do this, someone like Buhari cant be given the opportunity to address future leaders after leaving office because he has no leadership qualities. Buhari can only address ISIS,Boko Haram, Alshabab, Al Qadaer etc on how to be better terrorists, that's what Buhari is known for. Buhari enjoys spilling innocent blood as evident when he lost the 2011 presidential elections.
ReplyDeleteAs in... D man is staying relevant to d world yoo
ReplyDeleteGreat!!
ReplyDeleteWorld leader is hard to get in African but of recent the world have gotten one in West African Nigeria in person of Good luck ebele Jonathan
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when people spend their time planning how to bring you down not knowing Gods plan for your life!! U keep moving higher every day Jona! What a lucky man you are!!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for him.
ReplyDeleteYour comment will be visible after approval
My people will say "Aka adighi egbuchi onwa". Hu says u can only be a president 2 b in d spotlight?
ReplyDeleteWhat a good and inteligent man. God will always be with you. For the peace you gave to nigeria, you shall forever know peace in your life. IJN Amen.
ReplyDeleteA very good example of a prophet not being appreciated in his own home
ReplyDeleteThe stone the builders rejected is fast becoming the head corner stone. God will prosper u beyond your imagination and Nigeria will beg u to come back very soon. Because their new messiah has become the chief wailer and tormentor. Happy birthday once again

ReplyDeleteHe should also teach them how to propagate & condone a very corrupt government...
ReplyDeleteThe man that destroyed us further with his corrupt cabinet & still gets called an icon/hero for accepting obvious defeat & not annuling an election that nigerians clearly took him out...
Nigerians!!
GEJ my hero
ReplyDeleteGEJ my hero
ReplyDeleteUr indeed a good leader. The whole world is seeing and using ur leadership style. I love you PRESIDENT GOOD LUCK EBELE JONATHAN. We the good people of Nigerian is missing you so dearly........
ReplyDeleteGreat man. He looks younger than when he was a president
ReplyDelete#Respectlarge#
ReplyDeleteThose who benefitted under him cannot but praise him for destroying the economy. What does he lecture them about? That stealing is not corruption? To be permissive and allow impunity in government just to be seen as a good and friendly person? Posterity will never forget GEJ and Nigeria economy.
ReplyDeletehmm who is paying for him to travel? has he also siphined money from nigeria ?
ReplyDeletehmm who paid for this?
ReplyDeleteFool...dont u know dat he stil flys the Federal government Jet!! All this illiterate everywhere na wah o!!
DeleteThat is why we are under-developed; UAE and Nigeria Started oil exploration in 1958, and now is 2015, look at where we are and they are, just because of stupid leadership. Nigeria would always remain animal farms, Jobathan does not deserve any admiration, none of the past leaders either.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy ur self while it last, sooner u will pay for all d atrocities u have committed......all diz public stunt is not going to help u......oloriburuku
ReplyDeleteNigeria is obviously enjoying this relative peace cos GEJ allowed GOd to use him. He is our hero no matter what. The office of the president is a big one,and history has proven that the most successful heads of states had an unprecedented support and good wishes of its citizenry. Forget has a token for u at the end of the year,be constructive and true with issues especially as it affects home. Never been a Linda fan but thumbs up to her. She's a hero too especially to all the lost girls outhere. Cheers
ReplyDeleteThe reason why Nigeria is still like this is because 1) we forget things easily & 2) we never see beyond our noses (among many other reasons). Do you guys think all these things are by his own making or reward from this government or its supporters for handing over government peacefully? GEJ clearly ran this country to the ground so he would never have gotten these opportunities if he hasn't cut some deal or so. Think about that!
ReplyDeleteRide on. Your Goodluck si na chi. Man cannot take it away. No matter how hard they try
ReplyDeleteKudos to him, it means that no man can stop you from shining, when God has blessed u no man can caused u, up Jona, Obj will be @ home crying like is it only jona why not me... Isaiah 40 vs 31 for they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the folks that said they will voted out GEJ and he will go back to Otueke. Is this university in Otueke? One God has blessed is blessed
ReplyDeletehehehe. growing a chain of weak leaders
