Court orders DSS to allow Dasuki to travel

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has ordered the Department of State Security to allow former National Security Adviser NSA Sambo Dasuki travel for medical checkup. Dasuki had filed a Fundamental Rights Enforcement suit against the Federal government after DSS officials prevented him from traveling out on November 4th despite a court injunction permitting him to do so.

The presiding judge in today's hearing, Justice Ademola Adeniyi ordered the Attorney General to appear before it on Monday Nov. 16th to explain why the court order granting Dasuki permission to travel out for medical attention is being flouted.

    am not sure this man wants to travel for medical checkup as said, i believe he is playing a chess game wit d FG....or his he going to say that in all of Nigeria there is no competent and capable hospital/medical centre to attend to his health issues. #CORRUPTIONFIGHTINGBACK

    Nigeria judiciary is not helping this war against corruption. Why would a judge grant a corrupt man freedom to travel abroad for medical attention abroad, is this not like protecting an accused person? What happen to Nigeria medical center. Shame..............
