Photos: Ebonyi govt donates 2 trailer loads of rice to troops

The Ebonyi state government today donated two trailer loads of rice to Nigerian troops. The bags of rice was presented by Deputy Governor, Barrister Kelechi Igwe at the Defence Headquarters Abuja today October 16th. More photos after the cut...

    I hope it is Abakiliki rice and if it is not, it will be a huge irony that a state regionally for its rice production will be distributing imported rice.

    This does not make any sense! If a state wants to donate anything to federal agents, it should not be done directly to the agency; besides, is the donation coming from personal purse or state fund?
