Rotimi Amaechi the immediate past governor of Rivers state, had a thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt yesterday to celebrate the 8th year of the supreme court ruling that made him governor of the state on October 25th 2007.

During the service which was attended by APC leaders in the state including the APC governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside, Amaechi accused the state governor, Nyesom Wike of borrowing N45 billion loan which he cannot account for.
“I borrowed N300bn and I paid N245bn back and I left about N15bn. But now, they are not borrowing to pay contractors. Rather they are borrowing for themselves. Borrow to pay contractors not for your purse. They have borrowed N45bn and nobody is seeing it. If you put N45bn in the state economy, the state will be bouncing. They will employ more workers, pay them and you will see things working. It is those roads that I have done that they are driving on. The stadium road was done by me and they are driving on it. I did underground gutter, but they are building gutter and covering it" he said.

    This is the reason why I don't like certain politician's example Amaechi and his likes. They lie a lot. Yes Amaechi worked in Rivers State. But the money he stole was tremendous, up until now, Wike is struggling to pay off some sectors that the so called *working* governor didn't pay their wages. He refused paying pensioners, saying it's a waste to the economy, he started up a monorail project, which is over a 100billion naira. Today, it's an abandoned project, which he abandoned anyway. Amaechi is a liar. Wike borrowed that money to pay off back logs of his debt. Amaechi refused to repay iwofe road just because the people didn't vote for him. He left that bad road for 8 years and said nothing. Wike on the other hand, is working. He is doing tremendously well. He remains the Governor of Rivers State. May the heavens Strike down whosoever is plotting against us having a good governor. God fatherism is one of the many things wrong with Nigeria today. Amaechi wants Dakuku to win so he can control him. Just as Obasanjo wanted to do with Jonathan that he refused. Wike stands on his own and that's how it's supposed to be. #teamwike any day, any time. Am a realist, not a politician or a member of pdp or apc. The first 4years of Amaechi's rule was ok, I even voted for him during the second elections, but it's obvious, he became power driven mad. And that his punching bag of a wife, be acting like all his perfect. My dear, you are not trying. That's why people call you a househelp, because you still act like one. Didn't you learn anything from Odili's wife? Our Justice Mary Odili? Oh I miss that woman. That's a true woman, who leads. Please go back to her house and learn more. Ok ma'am? Just a word of advice.

      A realist that only knows that Amaechi is Dakuku's godfather but doesn't know what the likes of GEJ & his wife stand for in the political world of Wike...Am very sure your dad has punched your mother more than Amaechi ever did to Judith. You guys just sit in a place and speculate how Amaechi beat his wife, i guess it was in your father's parlour that he did that.

I had to support family members for about 4 months from the us because they are civil servants and Amaechi stopped paying salaries as the elections heated up. people were unpaid until the changeover of government. is that just? is it?
