Man messes with Craiglist African scammer by making him think the FBI’s after him

So, a Newyorker named Nick had his car for sale on Craigslist and a scammer from Benin Republic (let’s call him Mike for some reason) had intentions to buy it. His method was to send Nick a fake cheque with more than the asking price on it. He would then ask Nick to repay him the difference, then blame the mistake on an admin error, thereby taking real cash from Nick and leaving with nothing.
Nick clicked on that something wasn’t right and, instead of confronting Mike, he had a bit of fun. Read the convo below, lol....

  10. Buying and selling is now madesimpleonline but extra precautions need to be taken so as to avoid scamming. But does it have to be Africans/Nigerians doing the scamming all the time?

  17. LOL.... Na their handiwork be that. I no wan mention tribe, but na them full porto novo. Always sagging, roaming around songhai cafe, waiting at dhl office, going to churches just to hunt Nigerian female students, getting local smallies pregnant etc. The fact that houses in porto novo are not numbered makes it very easy for them. When maga no pay and they get broke, na to borrow or rob. Na dem full prison pass.... This dude got the best of them this time.
