Former Senate president David Mark as a Senator in the 8th Senate

He was the Senate President in the 7th Senate and now a Senator in the 8th Senate. He has not participated in any way in the ministerial screening so far and after NTA cameras captured him sitting quietly and observing proceedings in the senate today during Amaechi's screening, Nigerians began talking and he's now trending on Twitter. Some of what they tweeted after the cut...

    1. People should free him and tak several seats...

If he talk Nigerians wil comment abt it and if he doesn't they wil stil talk. So people should leave him alone after all by d end of d day he pockets his money.

  9. I guess David Mark has that feeling of a student that repeated and has to sit in the class with the juniors he used to scold before. This man has been in the corridors of power for about 30 years.

  24. Nigerians are never happy- if he talks, it is a problem. If he doesn't talk, it is a problem. The man is very smart and should not be underestimated- if Buhari could, he would prefer to make this man a minister but will Mark cross the floor to APC???

  25. I thought someone says he's a "Master strategist". Master strategist my foot!! Does this man represent any constituency? Truth be told, he miscalculated. He thought GEJ would still be in power again so he can be life senate president. That's life's lesson for everyone. Table has turned and he's now a confused man. In a sane world, he'll be cooling his nerves in jail now. Let him lead in the opening and closing prayer so as to be relevant for now!
