Port Harcourt Refineries resumes full operation, produces 5 million liters of petrol per day

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC Ibe Kachiukwu today announced that the Port Harcourt refinery has resumed operations and produces 5 million liters of petrol per day. While addressing journalists in Port Harcourt Kachikwu said this recent development will help to stop the era of fuel shortage in the country. He says the plan is to ensure that all the refineries function optimally.

He also revealed that there are plans to engage the services of the Nigerian Air force using drones for surveillance of the petroleum pipelines across the country. Kachikukwu also revealed that the Warri refinery will begin full operation before this week ends.

  27. Well done. by permutations our refinery functioning at optimal capacity means more staff should be employed, yet no vacancy was advertised because you all will keep giving the jobs to your relatives. If an establishment of the federal govt won't advertise positions and give jobs on merit Is it private firms that would do so?

If liar mohammed wrote an epistle detailing buhari's "supposed" achievements withing just 3 weeks in office without mentioning the refinery, and still hasn't come to claim the achievement now, doesn't your brain tell you he has nothing to do with it?

  52. This is a very sensible move to deploy technology to aid security of our refineries and distribution of petroleum products. This should be across board in Nigeria

  53. @Judith and the rest, you will die blind. Nigeria will move on and you will continue to wallow in your shameful tribal war, fools. I don't expect less from SE. Wait till u see your 'hero' exposed in the next few weeks

    ReplyDelete
  54. I don't know when people will learn to live and forget about tribe... live and let's live. Give credit to whom credit is due. Jonathan for good 6yrs couldn't make light stay for just a night and, now refineries that they said might nva work or even if it does will take yrs starts working and people are hailing useless Jonathan? Something must be wrong with some Nigerians...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Good news. Some say that this is the handwork of GEJ. their naive argument is that Baba has just taken over. What they couldn't understand is that most of these refineries are OK. They were deliberately closed down by GEJ and Co. So as to defraud the nation billions of self awarded contracts of transporting the oil to and from the Nigerian shores. Baba came in, stopped all this nonsense and ORDERED the refineries to RESUME full operations. Now who should take the credit for resumption of operations? Mtseuuuw.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Our hero Gej did this. The fools giving Jonathan's glory to baba snail will also have their glory given to another who did not work for it . They will labour in vain unless they repent from their evil and wicked way
