  5. Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques, supermarkets, we never question their prices. We pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out tips to the staff.
But the moment we are out of these shops and want to buy banana, our bargaining game gets off to the roof. Poor widow with 12 hungry children at home tells you banana is N100. She even takes out her time to explain how difficult it was for her to even buy it, how the economy is so tough.
But we insist that if it's not N50, we are not paying. Some of us even step back into our cars and make to drive away. But because 'half bread is better chin chin', this woman is forced to call you back and sell to you at little or no gain. In her heart, she cries, she's worried about how she'll survive with her children. She silently reassures herself that 'It's well.
God will definitely provide.'' While you happily chop the luscious banana. Take some seconds out and think about this, guys. Please don't bargain hard with small vendors like this. They do business not to buy designer bags, Gucci shoes but to LIVE and EAT!

  21. Lies I watched this match live, my first ever naija league match and it was awesome. Stood back to see more side attractions, no such issue like that. In fact a sunshine player injured a ball boy and there was no violent

    1. Dont mind linda & her stupidity labelling ibadan pple up and down. All their cities in dt SE can never ever be like ibadan in their lifetimes, neither can d pple in their SE cities be as warm & friendly as ibadan people, neither can their cities have as much companies/multinationals as ibadan, neither can their cities have as much land as ibadan, neither can their cities have as much expratriates living peacefully for decades like they do in ibadan. Lol! Jealousy jealousy!

    2. This is how you fail exam... no wonder you are yet to pass Jamb and waec. You have stupidly veered from football to what you know nothing about...a toad in a well does not know there is an ocean out there. The problem most of you guys have is that you have never gone out of sw yet you find it comfortable to comment on developments in other cities. I don't know expatriates that prefer living in mud houses, clustered streets with rickety and old taxis and busses. I do not know a city that boasts of hospitality or "friendly" yet motor park touts make war every other day killing hundreds of people and hotels give you candles by midnight. I don't know a city that boasts of companies and multinationals but do not have industrial layouts where manufacturing and these companies make their products. Shoprite just opened late last year on Ring Road whereas it had been in Enugu since 2012. I don't know a huge city that doesn't have a functional airport, where one rickety airline (overland) service just 2 times a week. Nobody is jealous of Ibadan Mr. Anonymous... Ibadan is a large dirty, muddy and expired town. The only town I found a fully functional dilapidated building inscribed and belonging to "National Association of Witches and Wizards". I was shocked to my marrows. What about their hotels? Very dirty and unkempt... and the food? Oh... rubbish! The roads? Very narrow and undulating. The people? They usually smell of cheap fish all the time. I think they call it kpanla. Jealousy my foot

  24. It was caused by one of Sunshine Stars players.Towards the end of the match, he pushed one of the ball boys to the extent that the little boy was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm. We were prevented from dealing with that stupid player ni o,else it would have being a different story. The officiating was okay and the fans were satisfied with the result except that incident.

  34. LIB, why post what u have little about. The fans were not displease about the score line which was 2-1 infavour of the Oluyole warriors but rather they the fans were agitating to revenge the attack on their trip to Akure last year which they were beaten by the Akure fans and an incident which occurred between a Sunshine player and a ball boy which who broke a shoulder after a push. Though I regret the hostage but it's high time the NFF stand on their fit for future occurrence.
