  6. PENCOM needs to be very proactive. I don't see what they have been doing! My company has been deducting pension from my salary for the past six years and refuse to remit into my pension account. Buhari should please help us look into this. It is a serious matter. And I believe there are thousands of people out there that are affected too.

  28. This PENCOM is a scam. They have not paid my late dad's gratuity and pension benefits since he passed on in 2006.His next of kin don waka but up till this moment nothing. There was even a time in 2011 they called for documents, even travelled to Abuja for verification and documentation but nothing came out of it.My dad was a Prof in Unilag. Our able President please help look into this matter because a lot of families like this are suffering and languishing in pain because they have not paid these benefits. How can someone work for many years and die in service and his children can't enjoy his labours. This is wickedness in high places, someone out there is sitting on the money probably getting a lot of interest from keeping as fixed deposit in a bank. There is so much corruption in PENCOM.You people will not go unpurnished!!!
Linda please post this post and SAVE MANY SOULS

  29. For the complaint of non payment of gratuity and pension to your dad that passed on in 2006, please direct your complaints to Pension Transition Arrangement Directorate, Maitama - it is the agency that handles the old Pay as You Go Defined Benefit Scheme. Please use Google to get their contact details.

PenCom only deals with workers that fall under the new Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and have Retirement Savings Accounts with the PFAs and retired from July 2007 to date.

As an aside, PenCom has engaged Recovery Agents to go round the country and examine the records of companies to ascertain that pension contributions are being remitted as and when due to staff RSAs. So far, over N28Billion had been recovered from companies and credited to staff RSAs, with interests too. So forward information on your companies to PenCom and see if it would not act.
