    5. @abokithewarriboy...atuwatse is a title acquired by the sword he picked when he was to become king..There are different swords and he is called atuwatse 2 because he is the second person to pick that title. .atuwatse 1 existed in the 15th century..so the next king will draw a sword containing another title....

  16. Pls what is this debate about olu of warri and olu of itsekiri?Other tribes in delta state outside itsekiri are saying they don't have an olu of warri but of itsekiri land.Later dem go dey form say north na our enemy and south south or south dey united when an ijaw failure was in power, they say we should fight the north and embrace our ijaw brothers who don't care about our olu..R.I.P.

    2. @ anon 9:59 , are you saying what you know or what you think ? Bcos an Igbo has lived in Lagos all his life does it mean he is from Lagos? The kingdoms you know , where they established within 10 to 15 years ?

  20. A king of amiable character. He was installed as the olu of WARRI and that is who we have known him to be over the years. So live with that fact or leave it. The earlier Deltans stop segregation amongst themselves the quicker they enjoy the dividends of democracy.

  23. Olu or itsekiri is the same person referred to as Olu of warri, which shouldn't be so because warri comprises of urhobo, ijaw and itsekiri. This title issue was one of the reasons for the warri crisis.

  24. OLU OF ITSEKIRI- He is the king of the Itsekiri's not the other tribes in warri, History will tell you the truth.you cant force you self on other cultures even with power...one day everything will be go back the way it was...R IP.

  27. He is the olu of warri.....not itsekiri. ...It was the Benin prince in 1480 who came to the region with 60 sons of Benin chieves, his language did not rhyme with the Ijaws, urhobo or other tribes and it rhymed with the JEKRI(itsekiri former name)..then when he amalgamated his Benin and the yoruba of the then Jekri-they gave it a new name Itsekiri...He was king of the whole region but needed his own people, so called the itsekiri people his people. .He Is olu of warri. ..The whole warri and his people are the itsekiri ...history also tells us the first olus enslaved other tribes around him eg ijaw, urhobo (called sobo at that time)..so don't make silly mistakes. ...there's no olu of itsekiri. .its olu of warri and his people are the itsekiri

The land his palace is built on at ajamimogha opposite Ayo's church was rented to his forebearers by the agbassas of warri aka okere-urhobo.
the facts are there before anyone who cares to look.

I know the rabble rousers will definitely spit fire but the truth cannot remain hidden for long
