Lagos State Police Command raids criminal hideouts in Festac

This is a press statement from the Nigerian police. Please read below...
The Lagos State Police Command, in the early hours of today the 2nd of September 2015, conducted a massive raid on identified criminal hideouts within Festac axis. The raid which was an intelligence-driven one is designed to proactively deal with some emerging security threats, including lawlessness amongst Okada riders and other hoodlums within the State.
The joint raid which is still on-going has so far led to the arrests of twenty (20) male suspects and the seizure of seventy-two (72) motorcycles. The Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Fatai Owoseni wishes to use this opportunity to inform the members of the public that the exercise will continue until the set objectives are achieved.

  6. My friend updated on her PM at about 2am this morning about the serious robbery on 7th avenue, it's really crazy! I guess Xmas is few months away....we all have to be security conscious!

  38. nice job... m sure if most of u stay in festac u wl undastand beta. d same tin dt happened last yr wt d so called bike men u cant leave ur hauz at 6am for fear f them robbing u n taking u 2an un known destination. d trafffic ds raid caused yestday was massive bt it was worth it. pple lost valuable items at 7th avenue some r evn hospitalised. its ember month na evry1 wants 2go n impress dia village pple wt money n cars dt de stole 4rm pple. ds bike men r bn used as tools for escape afta robbery n de always v dia own share f evry loot. de evn rob n discuss in loud tones n r nt scared f any1 u can hear dem make fone calls 2dia colleagues in oda areas. NPF pls dont spare any of dem until de can prove de r nt guilty b4 u let dem go.
