Graphic photos: Armed robber nearly lynched in Ikeja

I find it so strange that people - including young children - are okay looking at and taking photos of an alleged armed robber that's about to be killed by a mob. How can they stomach it?. This one was caught trying to rob in Ikeja yesterday and was served mob justice. The graphic pics after the cut...

  25. Linda!!!! So you find it difficult to understand why people take pics in a place like that, where an armed robber is being lynched?
How do you get the pics and the news you give out, if not through these sources.😁😁😁😁

  26. Linda I used to look at it the same way...I was naive. I didn't understand how a human could hate another so much until I was duped recently. Someone had the heart to dupe a struggling fresh graduate like me even had to borrow in the process. This is someone that knows I was barely feeding well with lots of family problems. Now linda I have nothing but hate in my heart for her. I pray she gets lynched by a mob someday...

  36. I am always careful when moving the streets of Lagos, most people you see around you are KILLERS!! especially poor people and I am sorry to say it. The intent to KILL is in them also they are ready to observe and watch a fellow human being killed. Think of it , anywhere you shout ole! or thief! Some people are always readily available to KILL, bringing out weapons and fuel to burn the thief. Now a lot of young people are also being infected with this evil.THEY ARE ALL EVIL PEOPLE, EVIL NIGERIANS

  37. That child looks disturbed with the sight!

  38. Linda I will never stand and watch or even dare to take pictures but you have to understand that humans become hardened by circumstance! One who had being stolen from or lost a loved one to thieves would have no qualms seeing an armed robbers killed. Some people on the other hand just love violence and to them you can't do anything, they are bad that way!

  52. Nigerians will never stop taking laws into their hands + the useless police we have in this country re not even a better option to report cases like this to, instead they will make money out of the boy or his family members (that's if anyone comes for his bail @ all)...

  63. In as much as jungle justice is not the best way to handle this situation, you can never imagine what you would do if any of these guys visit you. They are so merciless and can kill you. I have been a victim twice and if you were in such situation you will not see anything in killing or be killed. If you kill in self-defense it is not crime.

  66. Linda amazes me sometimes. You asking why they take pictures? If someone didnt snap these pictures, will you have any to use for your posts? Smh. As for the thief, he's lucky to be alive. He deserves worse sef. You dont want to experienced being robbed.

  67. Is this the best way to punish him? Me I tire for this nigeria o

  68. I have been robbed by this particular guy 3 times in the past..I'm happy he's now in custody. I as much as I don't like seen blood, but I think this guy deserved what he got. I'm one his victims. He robs people in traffic and he tried it with me 3 times..he only succeeded getting 500Naira from me in his first attempt. His last attempt to Rob me was funny because I told him I know him and reminded that he has tried twice and he walked away. I told him if he doesn't stop him will soon be caught. He targets vulnerable people or people driving flashy cars.

  75. This guy has tried to Rob me 3 times in the past to the extent that I know his face anytime I see him. He operates around ikeja. He specialises in targeting vulnerable people and people driving flashy cars in traffic. This serves him right..

  76. Anybody who have been robbed will know what it takes to face an armed robber. These guys are heartless. Jungle justice is best suited.

  77. If he was in a position to kill while robbing he would ve, so I k less about if de kill him or not!
