  23. Expose them all! After making millions of naira, the CMDs pocket everything and does absolutely nothing to increase health delivery standards. Shame on them. I can't just believe my eyes. Pukes!

    1. Anon 2:34 if it is not deplorable to u, I fear the kind of place u call home, where u sleep and eat. Attitudes like yours is why eyesores like this continue to persist In the first place. This is a HOSPITAL! Where people will likely have compromised immune systems. If they're exposed to all these bacteria and mould (which can actually be deadly. Read a book!), isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of the hospital. In fact I would like to say that repainting and cleaning of this place should be enforced but I pity those that will be given such duties. The way it's looking, burning the place down might seem a better alternative. Lol.

that's the effect of corruption in Health sector! Money allocated for the renovations is in someone's account yielding interest.

  36. You should have also posted the rest rooms. That is where the real eyesore is.

  37. This is a federal teaching hospital, so who is blaming the former governor? The staff of this hospital have been on strike times without number, I believe one of the reasons was misappropriation of fund. Maybe the CMD should be probed.

  38. We need to develop a maintenance culture fast. One thing is building a structure, another is maintaining it. The problem is that post people live same way or in worse conditions at home.
If the head of engineering/maintenance and the quality control and health dept do not create or have an awareness campaign, it will never get don't. Starting from the hospital administrator to maintenance folks BIG FAIL on you jobs

  42. sadly, a lot of nigerian facilities (even HOUSES) look like this. i agree with the commenter that says a strict maintenance culture needs to be encouraged. not even only encouraged. but ENFORCED!
