PDP leaders dismiss purported sack of Chief Olisa Metuh

The attention of Peoples Democratic Party from the one hundred and eighteen (118) electoral Wards, and the seven (7) Local Government Areas that made up Anambra South Senatorial District of Anambra State has been drawn to reports in some media titled, “Anambra PDP sacks Metuh" and wish to state as follows;

1. That the said media reports about the purported suspension of Chief Olisa Metuh did not emanate from either Otolo Ward 1, or any of the Wards and LGA in Anambra South Senatorial District and not from PDP Anambra State, rather it was the handiwork of agents of All Progressive Congress (APC) in their desperate attempts to bring down at all cost the Leader of PDP in Anambra State, Chief Olisa Metuh.
2.  That we challenge the authors of the fabricated stories about the purported suspension/sack of our Leader Chief Olisa Metuh from PDP, to publish the names and signatures of the elected PDP Ward, LGA and State officers that signed the false and malicious resolution.
3.  That the position already taken by the Anambra State PDP captured in the resolution signed by all the PDP current and serving members of the National Assembly from Anambra State, the State Caucus and the State Executive Committee, as published on page 42 of Saturday SUN newspaper of August 8, 2015, and page 103 of Sunday THISDAY newspaper of August 9, 2015, respectively, whereby we the PDP Anambra State unanimously passed vote of implicit confidence on Chief Olisa Metuh, is irrevocable.
4.    That we are not in any way surprised that the makers of the false and malicious media propaganda against our Leader Chief Olisa Metuh, the All Progressives Congress (APC) being a political party owned by one man and his agents, and not been a disciplined association grounded in constitutional issues and norms, are pitiably ignorant about the constitutional procedure for disciplinary action (if any) against the National Officer of PDP.
5. That no amount of blackmail, harassment and intimidation from the APC and their agents can deter and distract our Leader Chief Olisa Metuh, from the ongoing task of rebuilding, remobilization and repositioning of PDP to reclaim Anambra State in the forthcoming elections.
6.    That we pledge our unreserved loyalty and support to the Chairman of PDP in Anambra State, Crown Prince Ken Emeakayi, the Leader of PDP in Anambra State, Chief Olisa Metuh, the PDP National Vice Chairman (South East) Chief Austin Akobundu, the Acting National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, and members of the National Working Committee of our great Party, the PDP.
PDP – POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
Signed;
1. Chief Jude Osude – Chairman PDP Anambra South Zone
2.   Barr Osita Igbokwe – Chairman PDP Aguata Local Government
3.    Engr. Gozie Igwe – Chairman PDP Ekwusigo Local Government
4. Chief Emma Obilakaba – Chairman PDP Ihiala Local Government
5. Engr. Maduka Okoye – Chairman PDP Nnewi North LGA
6.  Chief Albert Okparaugo – Chairman PDP Nnewi South LGA
7.   Hon Ephraim Nwankwo – Chairman PDP Orumba North LGA
8.    Hon Charles Orji – Chairman PDP Orumba South LGA
9.    Hon O.C. Samuel – Secretary PDP Anambra South Zone

  13. No one can sack Chief Metuh from PDP. That man has given his all for the party. As it stands now,PDP urgently needs Metuh 's brilliance and charisma to bounce back and that has not been lacking from Metuh . Metuh is the future of PDP.

  14. It is laughable that some group of clowns after getting drunk woke up suddenly to announce that they have sacked Metuh from the party. Are they in their right senses? Not at all. Metuh please ignore the distractions and carry on in your fine job of reorganizing PDP for victory in 2019.

  16. The moles that earlier announced sacking Metuh from the PDP thought everyone is carried away by their foolishness. How dare them sack Metuh from PDP? Metuh is the soul of PDP as the party seeks to find its feet once again.
