Buhari will balance his appointments in future - Femi Adesina

While speaking on a show on RayPower 100.5FM today August 28th, Special Adviser to President Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, said President Buhari will balance his appointments in future. Many Nigerians were taken aback after Buhari announced key appointments yesterday with majority of those appointed from the Northern region of Nigeria.
"Nobody can fault the fact that the persons appointed were appointed on merits. In terms of the spread, the President has prerogative to appoint and he knows there is federal character. I am sure that there will be balance in the future.
These are still early days. At the end of the day, we will have a balance. By the time more appointments are made, it will balance out. The President is trying to get the very best of Nigerians. The issue of key positions and no key positions should not be the issue. He gave a deadline of September for the appointment of ministers ‎and he will keep to it.”he said

Why giving us d 'future' hope which we r no sure of? Better rethink nwokem, b4 chineke akpo gi oku.

I bet you, nothing good is going to come out from this Boko haram sympathizer. He doesn't know that what he is doing now is in preparation for the destruction of nigeria. He single handedly ignores the constitution and people expect him to fight corruption. Una go wait tire

If I were the Vice President, I would have honorably tender my resignation from this Northern party. As bad as jonathan was, he balanced appointments between the north and south. Those gullible Nigerians that Buhari and his goons deceived to get into power thinks he is going to change. They would wait till thou kingdom come. I bet you, when ministerial positions are announced, more than 90% will still come from the north. O, what a Useless party APC is

  23. call by Chief Bode George to Buhari to probe Tinubu and Fashola is unfortunate .Rather than address the monumental fraud or corruption perpetrated by these 2 former Lagos governors , as outlined by George , they decided to indulge in a childish cacophonic insult or personal attack on him . They dodged the issue .The same thing they did to Tom Ikimi , Modu Sheriff and Fayose when they decamped to PDP after pointing accusing fingers at Tinubu .If Buhari should be taken seriously in his fight against corruption , these 2 big fish and many more should be in the probe net .Charity must begin at home and not abroad . APC led govt should start with an in house cleaning before attempting to clean the gabbage left behind by the last PDP govt .The fight against the monster called corruption must not only end in the PPD camp or federal level , but also down to the State and local govt . level. That , in view my view and that of any right thinking individual , is the real fight on corruption . Anything lesd is unacceptable and fraudulent . Jerry Rawlings was not selective when he cleaned Ghana out .

    1. You really must be mentally retarded! Something is obviously an fundamentally wrong with you! @ Femi, you must be a clown for saying that your cow rearing president is "trying to get the very best of nigerians", so in essence you're telling me that it's only in Northern Nigeria that the very best could be found! You're inherently stupid! What really does the north know in terms of education, academics, administration et al when compared to the south! It's more dignifying if you can just shut your mouth!

  51. Bullcrap.
So they have finally acknowledged that his appointments have been very loopsided?
The idea that only Northerns are trustworthy or capable is a big slap in the face is the millions of trustworthy and capable southern professions most of them who have proven themselves in their professions at home and abroad.

They say these people were chosen by merit. Really? By whose yardstick? We should just because they say so right?.

The reason for laying out the principle of Federal Character was to ensure the cohesiveness of this Nation and to minimize the marginalization of any part and also ensure adequate representation of Nigeria as a whole.

With the WHOLE Nigeria, if this President truly has a mind towards nation building and keeping this country as one, he will be more inclusive of every part that makes Nigeria one.

I do not buy their cock and bull story that they cannot find one, two, three, even 10 or 20 if not 50 or 100 honest, capable, efficient and meritous southerners to also occupy some of these top positions.

Northerners too are the most corrupt if you ask me, at the highest, executive level. Are they not the ones that were in charge of this Country for more that half the lifetime of our country Nigeria robbing us blind? Babangida, Abacha, Danjuma, etc. All of them ex-soldiers, but if not for corruption, how did they become mega-mega millionaires or billionaires?

Oh please, give me a break and stop insulting us southerners that we are not brilliant enough, we are way more than brilliant and more honest to boot than the northerners, who are just cunny, not that they are honest.

So, please, kindly STOP using this excuse you are using to place all your ABOKI people to take over the government and country. We see what you are doing, just stop insulting us in the process.
