Buhari moves to reclaim public assets still in the possession of GEJ's aides

President Buhari has set up a committee whose sole responsibility will be to recover all government properties like cars, houses, generators and others that are still in the possession of aides of former president Jonathan even after they have left office.

Revealing this to newsmen yesterday August 16th, the Senior Special Assistant on media & publicity to the president, Garba Shehu, said the committee which will comprise of civil servants and security agents, will soon begin to go recover the properties and that the entire process wasn't designed to embarrass anyone but rather do what is right and fair to the Nigerian people.

"Even here at the Presidential Villa, there are cars and other property belonging to the government which are yet to be returned. The property belongs to the Nigerian people. We are not trying to humiliate anyone by asking them to return their cars or houses. Imagine how much Nigeria will save by retrieving and re-using these government properties instead of purchasing new ones for new government officials,” he said.

    12. Buhari's govt would be so hopeless and meaningless to the masses if he refused to probe Jonathan's govt, 'cos if how generations might not have evidence(s) of corruption of d past, evidences at the greatest extent count in Jonathan's regime, his govt was corruption and impunity friendly! And if probation doesn't come, then, "change" hasn't come to stay

  18. THIS EVIL MAN CALLED BUHARI IS REALLY HOPELESS. HE KEEPS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO SPOIL THE NAME OF GOODLUCK JONATHAN. HE FORGOT TO ADD CATS AND DOGS TO THE LIST OF "ASSETS" HE NEEDS TO COLLECT.

BUHARI PAINNED BECAUSE WE REFUSED TO FALL FOR HIS SCAM AND RULE NIGERIA AS IF HE'S A MILITARY DICTATOR.

WE BLOCKED BUHARI FROM ACTING LIKE A DICTATOR. HE IS A DICTATOR AND HE CAN ONLY RULE AS A DICTATOR. BUHARI IS CLUELESS AS TO HOW TO GIVERN UNDER A DEMOCRATIC DISPENSATION.

BY 2019, BUHARI WILL STILL BE BLAMING GOODLUCK JONATHAN, THE INTERNET, PDP AND JESUS CHRIST AS THE OBSTACLES AND REASONS WHY HE DID NOT DELIVER HIS SO CALLED CHANGE.

BUHARI IS AN EMPTY HEAD. HE IS CORRUPT. HE HAS NOTHING TO OFFER NIGERIAN. BUHARI LIED HIS WAY INTO POWER, AND TILL NOW, HE HAS BEEN BEEN LYING. HE IS TOTALLY USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME.

WITH THE WAY HE WAS ACTING WHILE IN OPPOSITION, HE SHOULD BY NOW PAVED THE STREETS OF NIGERIA WITH GOLD AND DIAMOND.

BUHARI IS USELESS. THATS WHY GENERAL IBB OVERTHREW GENERAL BUHARI.

MAY NIGERIANS NEVER BE DECEIVED AGAIN BY BUHARI AND APC.

  25. Nigerians would soon begin to question 'PMB's anti-corruption war' if corrupt members of his own party are not exposed aswell... I like what he is doing tho. You can't build on a weak foundation... Nigerians need to understand that corruption is bad. And it shouldn't be a part of our identity.

  26. are just going after stolen money without awarding contract? not empowering the youth? Nigerians are suffering no job, things are on the increase, the only thing we hear is recovering stolen money, why can't we use the one we have recovered and the one on ground to award contact so that our youth can have place to work, salaries are not paid even our petrol is on the increase you buy and the way u like, we are suffering but smiling because we believe better days are yet to come, but what about if they continue to accuse and look for our money all over the world within this for years and no tangible work is done what will be the faith of the youth of Nigerians
