Now where re all the religious bigots who were commenting about him including Islamic book to university curriculum....
They should cancel all allocations for pilgrimage! Be it for Christian, Muslim or Ifa worshipper! Religion is a private thing and should be separate from government..."Separation of Church and State". If you chose to go, sponsor yourself or perhaps the religious houses/bodies should take it on. We are a secular state!
ReplyDeleteAgreed with you.

DeleteNice one from my able president, bravo!
ReplyDeleteNice one.
ReplyDeleteWORD!!!
ReplyDeleteAll Govt sponsorship of pilgrimages should be OUTLAWED.
Thumbs up to him.
ReplyDeleteEven though I rate hajj highly in my list of 'to dos' we really need to save all the money we can. Besides we are told by imams not to go on pilgrimage when owing money or with people's money.
ReplyDeleteCorrect President! I knew I wasn't wrong to gave voted you.The dry bones of frugality & productivity in this country shall rise again.A new dawn has come!
ReplyDelete*have*

This is really very appreciable. One would have thought that as a Muslim President, he would be biased. We are gradually getting to the type of democracy we have been craving for. So i think.
ReplyDeleteGood one. Very very good.
ReplyDeleteWhere r d ppl saying he wants 2 Islamize Nigeria........*mtshew*
ReplyDeleteThat's a good one...
ReplyDeleteWow! Dis is wht we r talking abt. Common on! Wht r u saying..?
ReplyDeleteCheck out dis great decision on behalf of d country which shows dat we r heading someone close to development in Nigeria.
Indeed PMB is beginning to materialise his words dat he is for everybody and no body. Thumbs up and more power to his elbows.
What exactly is the job of the delegations? To carry their side bitches for enjoyment. Mtcheeeew.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a good way of showing true leadership and moreover he is a Muslim ,so all xtains should likely forget going to jerusalem at federal govt expense 2..
ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeleteWonderful
DeleteOk... But still sceptical abt this man tho.
ReplyDeleteGo hug transformer
DeleteNever understood y the govt will be paying for pples religious trip, i don't see this kind of provisions for Christians or traditionalists .. Fab development.
ReplyDeleteThe govt also pays for the trips of govt officials that are christians to visit Jerusalem, capital of Isreal as a pilgrimage. So dont say what u dont know.
DeleteOnyx the ignorant person..read more.
DeleteOoo.. Never knew, that should be canceled too

ReplyDeleteGood
ReplyDeleteUbanagum
Government should completely hands off from things that has to do with pilgrimage. Individuals who want to go for pilgrimage should be able to sponsor themselves. Enough of politic and religion being intertwined.

ReplyDeleteState like kogi without good road, tourism lying waste and no salary are still secretly sending people from both religion on pilgrimage this year. While fgn is cutting cost they can't take example. God help us.

ReplyDeleteThanks to Almighty God as Nigeria is waking up and Gog will help our dear president to salvage the pieces of Nigeria. God save our beloved country. Toks
ReplyDeleteWow tears we have waited way too long so glad change is here
ReplyDeleteFinally thank God someone with sense has finally decided to show up. I have personally felt it was unnecessary. The christian pilgrimage delegation should follow suit and be scrapped.
ReplyDeleteI also feel the Federal Government should stop sponsoring christian and muslim pilgrims on their pilgrimage. If people want to go for pilgrimage and can afford it they should go. The FG should remove all these kind of unnecessary provisions and channel its resources into something more impactful and beneficial.
