Ask not what the government can do for you, ask what you can do for the government. The drainages have already been provided but citizens throw rubbish into them there by blocking the free flow of water.
Hmmm, meanwhile I enjoyed better Sun in my area. That all my clothes dried well sef. Now, if we the citizens can't help ourselves, I doubt if the govt will. Let's learn how to dispose our refuse correctly. Eg all these plastic and water satchet bags. Cos at the end of the day, we are the ones suffering. Tear and wear of our vehicles.
Nigerian drainage systems baffle me. ,govt needs to look into this Abeg.

ReplyDeleteThey claim they have been working since oh! We are watching closely!
ReplyDeletePeople should stop dumping their refuse in any drainage channel they see. That will help reduce the flood a litle bit.
ReplyDeletePlease, let the authorities do something abt it
