Photos: Customer strips to his boxers at a bank in Nigeria

These are screenshots from a Youtube video posted yesterday. According to the people who uploaded it, this man stripped himself to his boxers at a bank somewhere in Nigeria after accusing them of removing N25k from his account. He said after several efforts to get them to refund the money, he had no choice but to react. He stormed the bank, stripped himself, sat on the floor and said he won't leave the bank until his money is refunded. Don't know if it was eventually refunded...

P/s - not all stereotypes are completely bad. Our uniqueness and identity as a nation lies in our diversity, let's see it as a strength and not a weakness.

Ask what the person is trying to say before attacking.

    18. You see!!! STERN was right! From Seyi Ogunde's comment, you can discern that. I will rephrase what STERN said, Na only Yoruba person fit troway shame do this kain thing. They're so so shameless and loud. There could have been other ways of resolving this, but then, he's Yoruba. The funny thing is that he wouldn't even feel any iota of shame by the time he sees the video on Youtube! How God carry create this people sef?

  52. Nigerian banks could be frustrating atimes. The most annoying aspect is when u ask the reason that warranted the deduction, u hear of irrelevant policies. As a Corper, this happened to me recently in Stanbic IBTC, and they couldn't give me gud reasons. Take heart bruv!

    ReplyDelete
  69. It would be troublesome to search for proof or to verify if what he allegedly told the bank was true but... shouldn't customers always be right? Or at least in his case, he should be entertained formally and be informed of what are the courses of action that could be done regarding that..

Almost anyone would go nuts if he is to lose that much! I feel bad for him.

  118. LINDA YOU NEED TO ALWAYS CONFIRM YOUR STORIES BEFORE POSTING IT. THE MONEY IS OVER 600K. HE TRIED USING IS CARD FOR A TRANSACTION IN THE BANK AND THE NEXT THING HE STARTED GETTING ALERT FROM SHOPS IN UK. APPARENTLY WHEN IS CARD WAS COLLECTED FROM HIM FOR THE TRANSACTION, ALL HIS DETAILS WAS TAKING AND THE PERSON STARTED USING THE CARD TO SHOP ONLINE. AFTER HE NOTICED THIS, HE WENT TO THE BANK TO COMPLAIN SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND HIM THE MONEY AND THATS WHY HE HAD TO RESULT TO THAT AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE GOT HIS MONEY BACK AFTER THE DRAMA.
