The horrific accident happened this afternoon in
front of interland containers near ABC terminal in Amuwo Odofin. An Okada rider carrying a passenger collided with a truck. Above is the passenger that survived. The Okada man wasn't so lucky. His head was split open. The photo is after the cut... but be seriously warned...it is horrific!
Too bad

ReplyDeleteHE COULD HAVE BEEN ALIVE IF HE WORE A HELMET!! GOVERNMENT SHOULD MAKE IT COMPULSORY FOR EVERY OKADA RIDER TO WEAR A HELMET
ReplyDeleteOkada drivers are so reckless. I'm surprised there isn't more news like this everyday. They overtake cars from the right and squeeze themselves between tight areas, oftentimes between trailers.
ReplyDeleteThere should be some type of training school for these chaps and the police should enforce traffic rules.
RIP Dear,Heaven will smile to have you back,God Protect his children in Nigeria!
ReplyDeleteD okada shouldn't have been on d express. RIP.
ReplyDeleteLord have mercy
ReplyDeleteToo bad..life is truely worthless without Christ, thre is a thousand and 1reason y dey banned okada in my state..reckless driving, so sowie 4d dead#singingavemaria
ReplyDeleteOmg rip
ReplyDeleteThe accident may have been caused by the ok ada ruder. So horrific. Linda please send photos like these to the okada riders union so that these useless riders will be cautious cos they are so reckless. Aj
ReplyDeleteAs long as we don't adhere to simple safety guidelines, this will continue to repeat itself. This is what a 2,000 Naira crash helmet would have prevented. And sheer obedience to govt rules prohibiting cyclists from plying major roads.
ReplyDeleteSo pathetic, only if the Lagos state government ban all these small boys riding Okada on the major roads because they don't know their left from right or even common traffic signs.Their problem is too much.
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy! May his soul rest in peace....
ReplyDeleteRest in Peace
ReplyDeleteNO HELMET
ReplyDeletemay his soul rest in peace.....before we judge lets have it at d back of our mind he is human also.....
