Buhari aka anti corruption crusader. Yet he served under the most corrupt head of state without complaining. Buhari looted funds from the NNPC during his service as minister of petroleum. His recent campaign was sponsored by known criminals that looted their state and national treasury. A man like Buhari does not have the moral justification to fight corruption, if he wants to fight corruption he should start by fighting himself.
Please o. What could he have done? Can u if u r a civil servant for example do that to ordinary local government chairman. Hypocrisy of the highest order
Som pple wit empty brain! So daft!! Okorobrainless. Na ur papa follow am loot d NNPC money? Why ddnt pdpigs used dat against him den? Dey knw he was corrupt-free
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday openly objected to Nigeria Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele letting Jim Ovia, the former Managing Director of Zenith Bank, into his dinner party. The event was organized for the President by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and The Corporate Council on Africa.
During his remarks, Buhari departed from his prepared text to tell the surprised crowd he was surprised to see Mr. Ovia, and that he thought the CBN Governor had brought him along. He also expressed surprise at the presence of Wale Tinubu, who happens to be a good friend of Buhari’s All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu.
The crowd, which mostly comprised of US businessmen, did not fully understand the heart of Buhari’s position which wasn’t part of his prepared speech for the evening.
SaharaReporters had exclusively reported earlier in the day that Buhari warned his aides not to smuggle Nigerian businessmen into his meetings throughout his US visit. SaharaReporters learnt that as a result of the warning, most of the businessmen and politicians who had streamed into the US capital in the hope of meeting with Buhari did not openly attend his events.
It was also learned that Tony Elumelu, the Chairman of the United Bank for Africa, who was at the dinner yesterday, was only allowed to greet Buhari when it was over.
Elumelu and Ovia were formidable supporters of former President Goodluck Jonathan but since Buhari’s victory, these and many other businessmen have been looking for ways to warm themselves into the Buhari fold.
Inline with military tradition, a junior officer can never be a mentor to a superior. Buhari is ibb's senior not to talk of abacha. Abacha and buhari are just good friends.
The so called "messiah" and "anti corruption crusader," the certificate forging Bokohari, is still promoting Abacha as not corrupt. The same one known to be the most corrupt African head of state.
A superior officer can never be loyal to his junior inline with military tradition, abacha begged buhari to work with him. He gave him some conditions before he agreed to accept the ptf job.
