Nigerian twitter reacts angrily to Alex Badeh's comment about lack of equipment in the military

Read the reaction from Nigerians after ex Chief of Defence Staff Alex Badeh said he led a military that lacked equipment. And to think that many soldiers were condemned to death for revolting over lack of weapons. Sad. More of their tweets after the cut...

  7. He approved the court marshalling of soldiers who refused to fight Boko haram because they were ill equiped, and yesterday he claimed he controlled a Nigerian defence that lacked equipment.

  8. This Badeh ehn.....
There's a lot about him that only time will expose.I believe he's among the few top military officials that enriched their nests @ the expense of the poor junior soldiers. He may even be a mole for all I care.Untill he explain to Nigerians why his family was absent when Mubi was raided by BH just few days after he bundled his family away,I will take everything he says with a pinch of salt & see him as double faced!

  19. Badeh's action is an indication of the change sweeping across the nation and highlights the ills of the previous administration. Things are getting better already i.e. electricity and refineries resuming operations not because Buhari have done anything but because these workers know that power has changed hand and the man in charge has zero tolerance for mediocrity. Lazy and corrupt workers got away with their nonchalant approach to their tasks in the past dispensation because the president was both a novice and a weakling who no one had any regards for and so could get away with anything! In organisations now, the new slogan is "the fear of Buhari is the beginning of wisdom", nobody wants to lose his/her job. It's just a shame to think that people actually know the right thing to do but wait to be pushed to do it instead of doing it willingly at the right time....smh

  25. I'm always surprised to see men speak like children, in a country with great intellectuals Alex Badeh spoke like a COWARD himself, his speech lacked courage and wisdom. I pray God should deliver Nigeria from leaders who had no vision for themselves but accidentally found themselves in the corridor of power.
