Mugabe accuses US & British ambassadors of instigating anarchy in his country, threatens to expel them

Relations between Zimbabwe and the European Union has not been cordial since 2002 after the European Union imposed sanctions on the Zimbabwean government following allegations of human rights abuses and election rigging.

On Wednesday July 29th, Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe said the US and British embassies paid vendors to stir up trouble in the country.
"These are ambassadors of countries that imposed sanctions on us, so we have said we will kick them out of the country. They do not want to see peace in developing countries.
They just want to see chaos; people fighting each other, terrorism everywhere. British and American ambassadors - what kind of people are they? They are no good for us. Behave and you will be in peace with us. Misbehave and we will kick you in your bottom. It is our country," he threatened.

  6. Good thoughts from a man who is a scofflaw. One thing with Mugabe is that he really makes sense but his same self betrays him, a man whoo is arrogant, self-centred, egotistical, and an anarchist should to me, do better by respecting rule of law and process and not always barking at the western world.

  17. You are 100% right Mugabe in as much as you have your shortcomings but you are damn right on this one. They are the problem of the world their Government using them and multinational companies and international organizations creating chaos and fomenting problems and bringing enmity between Brothers. They are our problem including corruption/underdevelopment because they instigated it due to our African mentality and backwardness of our leaders then.

Some of my people will not understand due to they listen too much of foreign news without reasoning and analyzing it and some of them also have stayed outside for too long adopting and behaving almost like Oyinbo.

  34. Well he is right, they can't stand peacefully developing African countries. see libya and Egypt , their claims, these countries don't practice democracy but the people were not complaining, no one has told queen Elizabeth to step down because she has over stayed, their claims monarchy well why can't they impose democracy there also.

  41. I pray for a person of Mugabe in Nigeria not Ass-licking Presidents and journalists we have here. We need to understand the intention behind American's good will. We need to understand that we want them as friends but they see us as slaves. Mugabe is what we need to see in Buhari. We need to be responsive to this people. We need Putin in Africa. We need great man of their own will and good intentions for the people not a president against us, a tribalist

  52. That is how america especially has been starting wars all over the world.. with an aim to exploit oil and other resources that those countries may have. They pay of key individuals to start wars and then swoop in to make it seem like they want to "save the day".. ppl need to watch BBC, CNN and ALSO news from the countries that have war... unfortunately the language barrier limits us in understanding what is happening in those other countries and how they feel towards the western nations. Mugabe is not afraid... and we should be proud that he can stand up for his country in the way that he is doing so far.
