'If you don't kill NNPC, NNPC will kill Nigeria' - El Rufai

Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai says NNPC has to die for the Nigerian oil industry to move forward. According to him, if the nation's oil corporation is not 'killed', it will kill Nigeria. He said this while speaking at the 7th Wole Soyinka Lecture holding in Lagos today July 13th
"If you don’t kill NNPC, it kill Nigeria,” he said.

    8. Wouldn't it be better if nigeria separates. We are not working as a country. Separation doesn't mean impassable walls will be imposed on each territory, it just means that East, West, North, South will be in charge of their own economy and rule themselves.
If what ibos are scared of is their small land mass and large population, I dnt think it's much cause for worry. You dnt need oil, huge landmass and natural resources to build a country (like israel and southkorea). igbos are christians, smart and hardworking ,if they can just put greed aside, I believe it will work.
Yorubas too are brainy enof to rule themselves in their own way, and they will be pretty good at it too.
For the fulanis and Hausas..well, it will be much easier for them, since they are much more subordinate than ibos especially.
The rest of the south can join up with the west or north if they want. I dnt think it will be a good idea for them to join up with the south east though, the biafran war betrayal might not let them work together.
If nigeria should separate, we can still trade and somehow survive. But at least these killings and wasteful nature of our leaders might reduce.

    13. Honestly ibos are the main problem of Nigeria, other tribes are striving hard, praying hard for Nigeria to be a better country but these bastards are secretly, infact openly wishing the whole thing scatters and everyone gets divided, with their nonaccomdating spirit,na them dey stay another person land pass..they are everywhere.. they should even go so Nigeria can settlee, with the oil you are backing on,im sure una greedy nature will still make you fight yourselves,so I hope you don't end up dividing #biafra into 10 again, very aggressive Overzealous and highly temperamental

  37. If it is Okonjo Iwela that was the GMD of NNPC or one Mr Okoro, El rufai and Oshiomole will be disturbing the public about them and how they should be probed for destroying the economy and making naira to be N250 to $1. But now El Rufai wants us to kill NNPC before it kills them. Talking of one Nigeria. Meanwhile, El Rufai does not have prove of all this assertions he made as NNPC has not been successfully audited for decades.
