Hilarious! Man steals the foundation stone Messi laid in Gabon (pic)

Lionel Messi was recently in Gabon to lay the first stone of a new stadium, the Port-Gentil stadium which will host African Cup of Nations Matches in 2017. Well, after Messi laid the foundation stone which he was reportedly paid £3.5million for, an angry man kidnapped the foundation stone. He is now demanding 3m CFA as a condition to release it. Lol

  48. Ill do the same o,when people are suffering and can't feed you'll pay a foreigner that'll carry the money to his country and spend such huge amount of money to *wait for it* lay stone....SMH...misplaced priorities Gabon

  49. Crazy lazy port gentile lazy guy. He will be locked up tonight, I trust Ali.

  50. Only an African Government will pay a celebrity that much to lay foundation when its citizens are hungry. How much will the whole project now cost since the foundation laying alone cost over 3 million pounds. What the guy did is symbolic. He is simply making a statement to the government or whoever paid that much to Messi with all the hungry children in Africa.

    ReplyDelete
  51. please don't blame the guy, maybe he has not been able to make ends meet and the country or whoever is paying 3.5million Euros for laying a stone and not even to a member of their nation so they can get it back but a foreigner. #lackofselfworthAfrica

  53. All of u saying Messi was paid that sort of money for just laying a stone dont know anything. If he was paid( bcos it hasnt been confirmed he was), he was paid for making an appearance. Thats not new with celebs. All these guys like bill clinton, bush, arnold and even Kim k that have made appearances in Naija, you think they came for free?

  54. I perfectly understand and agree with what this individual has done...the countries people are in need and the president invites someone who is strikingly rich, pays him 3.5mil pounds abi euros, acts chauffeur., just to lay a stone..if na me I go hold the whole building hostage self....
