In a related development, the governing board of all Federal paralstatals, agencies and institutions have been dissolved with effect from today July 16th.
A statement from Mr Adesina to this effect states that all issues concerning the federal parastatals, agencies and institution should be directed to the president
"Until the boards are reconstituted, Chief Executive Officers of the affected parastatals, agencies and institutions are to refer all matters requiring the attention of their boards to the President, through the Permanent Secretaries of their supervising ministries. While the dissolution does not affect Federal Executive Bodies listed in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it covers administrative or technical committees and other similar organs established by the now dissolved boards.”.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to him. It kinda took so long.
ReplyDeleteOK E DON START
ReplyDeleteJust my thoughts, feel free to correct me.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is reporting to the president,he has no ministers or advicers. I can imagine what his pending file is like. Has he forgotten that he is 72 and has been out of practice for so long. He cannot hold a whole nation to Ransome cause he is witch-hunting his predecessor. Are there not better ways to handle the lapses in these agencies, instead of sacking with no replacement. I am worried for this nation. I guess Obama is the one who will finally give him the go-ahead on how to rule this country.
Exactly what I thought. Sack this and that... He better be careful before he is left clueless. And he begining to step on too many toes
DeleteAnonymous 19:37, I think I will disagree with you because, it can't be business as usual, a lot of things must change, if we maintain the regular, their will be regular result and what will need in this country right now is an holistic change. I salute the courage of the Mr. President and pray God will lead him right. God Bless Nigeria.

DeleteBoard dissolution is a welcome development. Good riddance to bad rubbish especially the University of benin teaching hospital board. Wish the federal government probes them all.
ReplyDeleteI am personally very glad dis happened.. Long overdue..dat former dg should just pray to God for forgiveness...bastard toying with the lives of people while he gets houses and yatchs here and dere...he should be probed ...good job to PMB
ReplyDeleteNoted
ReplyDeleteGOOD. PLS REMOVE ALL THE BAD CORRUPT EGGS FROM THE SYSTEM
ReplyDeleteIt a welcome development, maybe now securing a job at nimasa and other government parastal will be transparent and straight forward and not the "if u no know top oga u no go see job" way they were using before.......
ReplyDeleteLinda abeg post my comment oooooooo
All ministries and all federal parastatals are reporting to buhari. He is literally in control of every fucking thing. Who does that?? Most of you are busy saying he is cleaning up, but that's bullshit. Its just not right and I hope Nigerians start thinking outside the box. He has been in control of everything for almost two months. 'this is the money disappearing period' in my opinion
ReplyDeleteIt's understandable and expected that with every new government there is a dissolution of boards. But I feel concerned that without ministers, how much of the present issues can PMB handle personally? Or are they going to be replaced soon? I fear for these institution and parastatals without a board or a minister to regulate the activities of those in management
ReplyDeleteWORD!!!
ReplyDeleteBaba pls clean up the entire system for new development.
ReplyDeleteWhat do we call this....cleansing or purging?
ReplyDeleteI pray this is for the best o.. we want a better naija.
