The presidency says President Buhari will only be probing the immediate
past administration and will not probe past administrations of Obasanjo,
Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha and others. Speaking to newsmen, the
special adviser to the president on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina
says that President Buhari had stated during his campaign that his probe
will only be limited to the immediate past administration
"If you recall, that was already settled before he got inaugurated as
president. He has said he will not waste time digging into the far
past. The far past will includes Obasanjo and others. But the president has said he will not waste time to go that far.”he said

When jonathan/yaradua took over from obasanjo it was their responsibility to probe the immediate past government. Buhari is doing the right thing and we are complaining, why? He cant afford to deep to IBB days because he was part of corrupt Abacha govt and there ware records of his lootings. rolling with Amaechi, Rochas, Kwankwaso, Tinubu, Atiku, etc and he said he wants to fight corruptions? Every Past Government is only supposed to probe the immediate past because of time and how recent the events are....why didn't Jonathan probe any immediate past? Because he is a thief too. All he was doing is giving state pardon to thiefs like Alam, retiring Odion-after bullet proof car scam, providing immunity for Petroleum minister after all the revelation by the house.
