      Transsexual means they've had the gender reconstruction surgery... Transgender means they've not. For example, a transsexual female used to have a male sexual organ but underwent surgery to change the penis to a vagina, while a transgender female used to be a male, but is now a female, without having changed their female sexual organ.. Hope I've helped clarify.
