  16. I also experienced it, very sad. I had to come back to Nigeria with my program half-done. I didn't achieve my purpose of going to India, and couldn't even concentrate while there because of the distraction of student visa extension struggle. I was asked to go back to my country and reapply again. India is no more good option for my studying again.

    2. Did I hear you right? Pack load and come back home?...

Let's assume you're studying a 4 years course, and you're in 300 level, so you'll "pack load and go back home" wasting 3 years of tuition and upkeep just to come back home.

I'm not sure you're a University graduate else you won't write this Crap...

  20. Hi...am currently in india..and what aunty linda said is right...We foreigners are sent out of d country once our visas expires...Some students are not yet done with their studies but they are refused visa extension and they go back to their countries without completing their studies..Some are given visa of 1 year for a four years course and we go to the immigration for renewal but sometimes we dnt get extension..so many students have left d country downcast and dejected...imagine leave d country for like 2 years and going back home without completing your studies..imagine d pain,d shame and the trauma they face....I urge the Nigerian Government to discuss with the Indian government to always assist foreigners...
It's not as if there's anything good in this country,it's just their good quality of education that's all....
There's an upcoming election tomorrow and i urge all Nigerian students in Bangalore to come out and vote for Kingsley Akpotue as the president of d association of Nigerian students in Bangalore...He's very dedicated and am sure he will help tackle this issue of visa extension..
    Date:19th june 2015
Venue: Dayanaga sagar institute banashankarri, bangalore India...
    Thanks and God bless....

You Register in the School, pay School fees and do not attend classes, instead you sit at home and do your schooling online by scamming innocent People. At the end of the day, you get to bribe lecturers to mark your attendance just to renew your stay.
As for the Girls, i pity you People cause you're all lost...Italy no dey pay again, na Indian, Malaysia na come dey pay now.

  28. Thousands of students from Rivers State studying in various universities around the world under the platform of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) have cried out over their monthly allowances that have gone unpaid for over seven months.

“Most of us that are recipients of this scholarship are poor children who couldn’t afford the cost of going to higher institutions in Nigeria, but [for] the laudable program which was set up by our Governor,” they said in a statement.

They said Governor Rotimi Amaechi offered the scholarships to deserving Rivers State students following a rigorous screening, leading many of them to educational pursuits in such places as Canada, England, Scotland and India.

The students complained that while they have been singing the praises of the government, its failure to remit their allowances has resulted in great suffering for many of them, with most of the beneficiaries being thrown into the streets for unpaid rents.

“The worst case scenario, is that some students have been suspended or terminated from their schools for unpaid
fees, and this [has hindered] students from completing their studies,” they said.

They described the difficulties in trying to reach officials of the RSSDA. “Sometimes, they reply to our emails and numerous calls with no good excuses why we have not been given our allowances, and most times they don’t even reply or answer our calls,” the statement said.

“This is an issue of pure neglect by our government who have failed us at this critical time, they just brought us here several miles away from our poor parents and decided to dump us. Our poor parents back home who have been communicated the situation at hand are deeply worried about our well-being and don’t have any powers to help us at all.”

They called on Governor Amaechi, the Rivers State Government, the federal government and all other Government bodies to come to their aid before the situation gets too ugly and brings shame to the respected name of Nigeria.

  30. Look Indians hate Africans particularly Nigerians. I speak from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. You are lucky y'all are even alive to complain. You'd best pack your belongings and seek transfers out of India. They don't mind killing you if you insist on staying...y'all know the drill. They'd just kill you and say they caught you in crime.
