Man finds snake in Lagos hotel (photos)

The guy in the photo claims he saw a snake inside a hotel in Lagos. Read his story below...
I am Yemmy, I was having a discussion with a close male friend of mine yesterday night in the compound of an hotel. Here is what I saw coming towards my direction in an hungry manner. Please, what type of snake is this? Is it spiritual or ordinary? Anyways God won." See more photos after the cut..

      It is not extraordinary. If it were in an hotel room, then we can start dissecting the incidence, in which case the spiritual angle would be considered. I think its just a snake that missed its route.

    Because of recent flooding as a result of the heavy rain ,some animal like snakes may have been displaced from their natural habitat and taken far away by the deluged.Snakes like moving around in the night and always move towards light,maybe where you are standing there is more light than elsewhere that may be the reason he is moving towards you.But thank God ,the snake did not bite you.Scary experience.

    Forget about spirituality. Those Lagos hotels, especially those in VI, Lekki and Ikoyi are dingy and smelling. Even crocodiles can hide in there. They are expensive and extortive, yet the proprietors do not bother to maintain them. That is the tradition of Lagos mercenaries, out there only to make money from innocent people. What a shame!!! This guy should sue the hotel - I hereby volunteer to be his lawyer on pro bono basis. The hotel owner will be forced to cough out millions of naira he has refused to use to maintain the hotel.

    This is one of the reasons why they should sort out this flood issues. The water goes to bring these things out of their holes and they find themselves elsewhere and confused. Snakes don't like noisy areas so you can't find them just like that but with the rain and floods, we all need to be careful.

    This looks like a malnourished adult snake. Maybe that is why it seemed like it was coming to view you. The length of the body dictates an adult snake but the neck relative to the size of the head suggests lack of food. I am thinking a mamba or puff adder or cobra cos of temperament and length and color and head. allall of them are highly common in nigeria Which hotel I beg?

    It's the heavy rains that are flushing them out. The snake has no colour likely because it cannot get enough warmth and sunshine to power it up. I hate cities that have snakes crawling around in them, snakes should remain in the bush.
