"Mr president, don't you think that it's time you step down sir, so you can rest? When will there be change in Zimbabwe, sir? Is there democracy in Zimbabwe? It's about time to step down. It's enough! Over 30-something years and you came here to witness democracy? Let there be change in Zimbabwe!"Lol. Sahara Reporters Sowore was also shouting 'let their be change' in the clip. Mugabe didn't say a word to them. See the video after the cut...

DeleteAnd he brought his s600 bullet proof to Nigeria bad guy 💪🏼
DeleteHis security detail kinda supported them. that's why they gave the journalist the free will like that. over 30 years in office? He should step down! what she did was right. the man couldn't even be bold or brave enough to stop and give a quick response, he was running! people like him shouldn't be handled professionally!!
DeleteStep down for ur father I guess
DeleteYeye reporters. When will their own Queen Elizabeth allow someone else try, abi she no senior Mugabe??? Linda take note!
DeleteShes even opening teeth.you should have gone to zimbabwe to tell him that if them no beat beat you
DeleteThis is a disgrace to Nigeria for allowing such kind of embarrassment to her visitors. They are suppose to be protected not humiliated. Who are Sahara Reporters? The APC used them to win election, so what else can we expect?
DeleteSahara desert or reporters crossed there boundries.to even think this were the same motor park touts that discredited gej.smh!
DeleteNigerians have no chill. I wish it were SA'S president.
DeleteNigerians have no chill. I wish it were SA'S president.
DeleteFool. What do you know about free press?. You think a psycho like Mugabe who has seized power for more than 3 decades should be respected then you're a cretinous fucktard. That's why Western leaders keep developing their country because the press harass them every time they messes up. Sahara Reporters weren't even as hash like they should.
DeleteI guess people should start reading histories about other countries. Mugabe is been ruling for 39yrs. No freedom of expression, celebrating birthday with one million dollars while his people are suffering and more. He doesn't care about being harassed besides she leaves in the U.S
DeleteShut up All Of You!!! The man wants to turn Presidency to family business by handing over to his daughter dt knows lil or nothing abt politics and diplomacy! The man is a wicked old hag! Exactly wat Obasanjo wanted to turn Nigeria into wen he struggled for 3rd term! Open ur eyes y'all and stop licking asses of gold diggers coz dey re presidents! The girl was and is absolutely right!!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Na family business! She really fiinish am. Lol

DeleteIn as much as this is unprofessional its d simple truth na. See Mugabe's side e2s and plastic smile. For his mind now he wish he can slap her to shut up. Lmao!

ReplyDeleteIt's time Sahara reporters exhibit professionalism for once. After their display for the previous administration amongst other unprofessional exhibition of their journalistic tendency,i think they should be ban at once. Why will they ask Mugabe such question when Both Buhari and Mugabe are guilty of the same crime. Buhari after been the head of state thirty five years ago is back as president, and some fools call it change? Both Buhari and Mugabe are birds of the same feather but one was not able to fly properly to maintain his power concurrently, and the other maintained his. Until people like Buhari, Mugabe, Obasanjo, Atiku etc are killed, Nigeria and Africa will not be better. This men are wicked and evil, they don't want the young people to lead.
DeleteMugabe replies the heck outta America and their cohorts.. That yeye girl was seen to him as sth smaller than ant to warrant a reply.
DeleteIf you truly know the Zimabwean story, you'll be quiet..and their problem were caused by the same America and Europe.

ReplyDeleteI am Coonett
For me that was some stupid reporting, am not against Mugabe stepping down , but this was no more questioning but harassment, he has the right to answer you or not and if he has chosen not to why keep shouting and claiming you are doing your job, does security aides for me were not doing there job .
ReplyDeleteWhy nah
ReplyDeleteLols @ where is that Zuma self. The last part of the video

ReplyDeleteMadam, remenber the saying of the great IDI AMIN OF UGANDA "I guarantee you freedom of speech, but what I may not guarantee you is freedom after speech"...Be wise and stick to proper journalism.

ReplyDeleteDe sef he should step down naw lol no be chieftancy tittle na
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed... she had better apologize for this unethical behavior. Thats why journalist are hardly respected in Nigeria. If Mugabe's security detail landed her one dirty slap now, she will start shouting assault or physical abuse!!!
ReplyDeletei have never been so turned off by something as much as i am right now.linda what is funny about this please?this is an insult to journalism and Nigeria. SR should apologise to Mugabe and Zimbabwe. very razz annoying people.mtseeewww
ReplyDeleteSahara desert or what ever the call them selves are bunch of motor car parks.the are so lucky it wasn't Zimbabwe. Yes he HV stayed long in office ND he's old but this is not the right way to go about it
ReplyDeleteOne guy said where is that Zuma? Pls. Linda upload us their interview with President Zuma of SA.
ReplyDeleteExcessively unprofessional and gravely parochial.
ReplyDeleteAn Head of State is in your country and you couldn't engage him politely.
I think that's why they are called Sahara Reporters.
They should be in the Sahara Desert reporting about the sands and scorpions.
ReplyDeleteThese Sahara reporters are not professionals they are more like touts from their behavior, if we are talking about change they need to change their style of interviewing guest ,you don't go embarrassing a visitor all in the name of making a point there should be some form of decorum.
Totally unprofessional... Sowore and co shoud stop that rubbish. is an embarrassment.
ReplyDeletemaybe she thought he is GEJ they can talk to any how...the freedom for press they are all asking for was highly abused during GEJ ADMINISTRATION and this is a prof.no respect for a visitor and a seating president
ReplyDeleteGreedy president, let there be change in zimbabwe!
ReplyDeleteThat mugabe is one fucking bastard walahi.
ReplyDeleteThat girl is an idiot. How dare she Insult a guest in the country. What kind of journalism. They need to slap her shut. What an embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteI dont think there is any word like "CHANGE" in Mugabe's DICKSIONARY tho.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing hilarious in this video. They were only embarrassing the president and even themselves. Am glad he didn't even respond. Soo unprofessional. Nigerians and the way they do things sef.
ReplyDeleteRight or wrong. I tink dey are all blind men in dt country.. All hail 9ija
ReplyDeleteAm not a fan of Mugabe but I don't know if this is right, I think they are over zealous and very unprofessional, how will u feel if someone treats our dear President Buhari in that manner if he visits their country considering the fact that we had age and certificate issues, off course we will fire back. She needs to take a chill pill
ReplyDeleteThis is not journalism but touting at its highest order, this is so unprofessional, these Sahara reporters are more like hoodlums, very disgraceful and disrespectful am not sure they are schooled on the ethic of journalism.
ReplyDeleteAt the end, that guy was like "where's that Zuma sef? (in reference to SA President Jacob Zuma) Lmaoooo!
ReplyDeleteI have always known Sahara report/tv are full of tout. See how inresponsible and unprofessional she sounded. For God-sake that is a president just like Buhari. Can she try that in his country. All this road side prostitute without a university dregree is what she has shown the world she is. And Linda. Dont dent your image too, because i see nothing funny in this video.
ReplyDeleteA president who visited your country to witness an inauguration is been harassed and Linda feels it funny. Shame on you. And to that ugly girl with teeth like caterpillars, I doubt if anyman would keep u because you just displayed you'd arrogance in public
ReplyDeleteIt's called freedom of speech and press. That's what journalism is all about. People go in hiding to complain that someone holds power for ages and won't let go and here are people being brave to ask him a valid question yet they get heat from doing so. Nelson Mandela was a freedom fighter for his beloved nation and he didn't latch onto to power because of that. Presidents and prime ministers of western world get heat from journalists, so people should calm their nerves.
ReplyDeleteA president who visited your country to witness an inauguration is been harassed and Linda feels it funny. Shame on you. And to that ugly girl with teeth like caterpillars, I doubt if anyman would keep u because you just displayed you'd arrogance in public
ReplyDeleteSo sad, I nearly cry for the level of disrespect shown by the so called journalists, they are indeed 'touts' sponsored by some people.
ReplyDeleteLol the other guy was like where is that Zuma...probably they are heading to Jacob Zuma of SA.
ReplyDeleteHmm Sahara burst mugabe's bubble.
ReplyDeleteListen to the end @sowore : where is that Zuma sef????
ReplyDeleteI don't want to watch the video. That SR Sowoere is a goat. Apologies for that. Does he think that he does not need change in attitude. In the way he practice journalism he also need change
ReplyDeletegood intentions, completely wrong actions!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to be activists and protestants, why not. We will herald you for your sacrifices.
But please Leave Journalism for the professionals and educated.
This is no way to ask questions!
She a more than professional, she's deeply concerned about Zimbabew, i love her, shame on mugabe, wen u stay that long in power, u'll keep repeating urself, instead of allowing fresh ideas
ReplyDeletegood intentions, completely wrong actions!!!

Sahara reporters boss holding a bottle of water and acting like a complete thug! what do you then expect his staff to do. This is so shocking and sad. This really makes me revalue my assessment of sahara reporters and Adeola. What a shame
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha.....Dese Jokers called Journalists...No professionalism...I cud as well step in and throw a few words in d name of Journalism...Shame...#even if Mugabe deserved to hear dose anyways...lmao...
ReplyDeletethats really unprofessional of her, she was harassing the man now
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha, but bros dnt care wat yall tink, might be even death or a serious illness that will make him step down
ReplyDeletePlease what are we celebrating here? Absolute rubbish i think Mugabe is highly professional than the empty barrel reporter making senseless noise....Mugabe you are indeed a true leader by demonstrating calmness to your orubebe....
ReplyDeleteMost Nigerians i know have shallow brain, you stand here today throwing blame on d sahara reporter, questioning her ethics and professionalism buh not so long ago, many of yhu here rained down abussive words on d former president GEJ of his incompetence to rule d country. . .And here is a man who has not yet defined democracy and instead of calling a spade a spade yhu all stand here to criticise if d reporter is really or not. . .she should have fixed up breakfast for him before quetioning him baaaaa??? Grow up peeeps. . . The Zimbabuwean president really need to add up d definition of democracy to his vocabs, cos only den will he gain d respect he deserves as d president. Call a spade brothers!!!
ReplyDeleteVery unprofessional Sahara reporters. Look at how they are embarrassing our guest. This is not journalism . This tougery
ReplyDeleteSo unprofessional. That's plain harassment and a calculated attempt to embarrass the Zimbabwean president. And she kept repeating "so old, so old". Then her colleague said "where's that Zuma?" like seriously is this journalism or thuggery?
ReplyDeleteI am highly embarrassed by this so called Sahara reporters crew. The level of unprofessional-ism is disgusting. While do they have choose this day of all day in Nigeria to behave like animals to our guest. Mr Mugabe behaved so well by simply ignoring them because silence they say is only for the fools. (And fools is what they are) They should go to Zimbabwe and ask Mr Mugabe that question since they claim to be journalist. By the way what kind of journalist are they? Fools! Fools!! and Fools!!!
ReplyDeleteI see nothing unprofessional in what the journalist did. She asked President Mugabe a question and he refused to answer and she proceeded to coax it from him by asking it repeatedly and taunting him just to get the answer. Why did he not answer?. He knows he is doing something wrong. That is the power of the press. To fight for the masses.
ReplyDeleteLMAO this girl too dey play abeg she said 'we want to come for inauguration, invite us...' Bwahahahaha
ReplyDeleteplease guys listen to the last but and Laugh. some one asked is Jacob Zuma here? and the on that got me cracking is "where is that `Zuma? at the end .
ReplyDeleteLol silly reporters they fucked him up, yea but truth be told jor
ReplyDeleteThat vuvuzela P fuy
This is hilarious and so fucking inappropriate... jjeez go to his country and ask him that, and not when he is visiting.
ReplyDeleteThat lady is UNNECESSARYLY BOLD, RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. Though funny, but this is an insult to professional journalists in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolute nonsense from the sahara reporters. she was even joking about it. People just fiddle with highly sensitive issues. You cannot embarrass a president of a sovereign Nation publicly and think its all over. The last has not been heard of this. This is international politics and kids like her are advised to steer clear. Even Amanpour of CNN will not go to that length to insult a President. Press freedom has boundaries.
ReplyDeleteshe is just an idiot. she simply wants to get hersely in harms way. International Politics is no kids affair. even amanpour will not do that.
ReplyDeleteThis was funny
ReplyDeleteLeave Uncle Bob alone.
ReplyDeleteHe came in as a Dignified Guest of the Nigerian People.
she is an American Citizen, they should touch her an see what happen .
ReplyDeleteshe is an American Citizen, they should touch her and see what happen . What happen to freedom of speech .
ReplyDeletePriesthood! Do u write...chill to think some more then write again? Stop pissing me off!
ReplyDeleteDid he answer? Even when she asked after his health he didn't reply; So yes he knows what his doing like she said! Them zimbawians should like what she did and if they do, yous opinion don't count! He was rude by not answering...only if he did she won't say much! Goodbye
ReplyDeleteLol. Adeola. Cray cray chick!
ReplyDeleteWrong is wrong. And the reporter was very wrong and unprofessional for doing this. That is not true journalism at all. There is a time and a place for everything...and that certainly wasn't the place. I'm so pissed. What sort of bullshit journalism is this? That reporter should be ashamed of herself...
ReplyDeleteWrong is wrong. And the reporter was very wrong and unprofessional for doing this. That is not true journalism at all. ReplyDeleteIs the guy on white Agbada too working for Sahara Reporters, is that not Laolu. Sahara lacks etiquette .
ReplyDeleteWho is that untrained girl? Very very unprofessional, unethical and very very rude...how can u harrass a sitting president in that manner? Is she in a position to tell him to step down? Sahara reporters plss try and train ur staff, they are very very razz..OMG, i was so embarrassed watching this now.
ReplyDeleteThat suits Mr Mugabe after he insulted Nigeria and called Nigerian people mongers without any reservations. Old power thirsty dog
ReplyDeleteGood question. When will he step down?
ReplyDeleteHahaha, ate about time damocasy, wor hapin here we are asking a kuasion here..funnkt as it may look, this is the height of unprofessionalsim and disgrace to the world of journalism pls wia did they pick this ppl and called them journalist? I feel like puking no wonder they always report trash, baseless kindergarten reports. This Sahara reporters should be closed down or banned who even have them license.Linda are you are watching this and laughing this ppl are insulting your field
ReplyDeletePls Sahara reporter stop being rude to African leaders and the continent of africa. How did Sowore got chance to get closer to president Mugabe to asked him disdainful questions. I think Sahara is grown enough to start Program on other continents or even world news
ReplyDeleteHe deserves full respect as a president of a country and one should not behave like a tout for the sake of getting news for your organisation. No matter what anyone might say about Mugabe, he remains a pride of the black race.
ReplyDeleteMugabe's actions over the past 35 years are innapriopriate unethical crude inhumane and what have you! So it's fire for fire! Whether he is a sitting president or not! Note that not all journalist are d gentle meek type these ones are rugged and dogged call them rude unprofessional what have you mugabe has lost respect even his aide know the truth so they didn't even bother much other than saying it's okay okay okay
ReplyDeleteHe should step down and allow another person to try.
ReplyDeleteSahara Harassers. Shame!
ReplyDeleteU cant talk to your dad dat way without getting an inter-generational curse. Go write apology to d man sharp! sharp!
Mehn... Thats very unprofessional... She was so disrespectful. #thatsnojournalism# #illmanners#
ReplyDeleteHmmm that lady get mind shaaa
ReplyDeleteThe means as well as the end is important. I think Sahara reporters messed up big time.
ReplyDeleteSahara what a shame. Very unprofessional, dts why I love my CHANNELS Crew
ReplyDeleteAbeg those of you talking about professional journalism should just go and take several sits joor. In as much as am concerned that Mugabe papa does not deserve any iota of professionalism and should even be more embarrassed than this little he got. It pains me that Zuma wasn't in sight at that moment. Rubbish.!
ReplyDeleteThe MORONIC so called reporter thought she could score a point and be hailed a "Tough" reporter but she's such a FOOL, you don't go about yelling like a sick lunatic all because you're have a press pass, and the stupid SOWORE is behind her yelling as well. A smart journalist will ask a question in an intelligent way and stun her viewers and to cap it all Ms Ikeji thinks it's funny.. Pls lets condem what's not right....
