    Majority of the responses here gives me the creeps. Humanity has really gone to the dogs. I wrecked my dad's car when I was in the university and I didn't even have a dime to contribute to the repairs, I felt bad for weeks. I was also lambasted and scolded but after a while I was forgiven and things returned to normal. After the episode though I was not allowed to touch any car in house without permission, which was OK by me.
    Comments like I've seen here shows how worthless relationships are these days. While it is painful to have your car wrecked, your reaction tells alot about the kind of person you are.
    I will find very difficult to continue in the relationship after you nag me into buying you a new car after an unfortunate accident such as this.
    PS: If you don't have the heart to take such shock, then don't give car to your BF or anybody for that matter!
