First photos from Yeni Kuti's daughter's traditional wedding today

The traditional wedding ceremony of late Fela Kuti's grand daughter, Rolari Segun, to her Australian boo Benedict Jacka, is currently taking place at the African Shrine, Agidingbi Ikeja, Lagos. The wedding hasn't started proper. Rolari's mum is Yeni Kuti and her dad, the late Femi Segun. More pics after the cut...

  12. Islam divides the world in two parts: Darul Harb (land of war) and Darul Islam (land of Islam). Darul Harb is the land of the infidels, Muslims are required to infiltrate those lands, proselytize and procreate until their number increase and then start the war and fight and kill the people and impose the religion of Islam on them and convert that land into Darul Islam. Islam is to destroy and conquer. I don't trust any of them one bit. That demon can enter them at any time. Guard your loins people

  31. Re- Wedding should not cost more than 50k. This was posted by someone and comments were requested. First of all people should be informed that wedding and marriage mean the same thing. Now there is a difference between marriage(wedding) and marriage(wedding) feast. The prospective husband cannot determine what his marriage(wedding) would cost. The in laws have the prerogative to determine. The husband to be determines what the wedding(marriage) feast would cost. The in laws dont determine that. So people, marriage(wedding)feast can cost 50k or less or more. People take marriage(wedding) to mean the feast not knowing that the feast comes after the marriage. Now I want ask my Nigerian Christian people why we are the only set of people on earth that are forced to do a minimum of two marriages to the same woman with two feasts before being deemed to have married? Every marriage is done according to the tradition of the people involved hence every marriage is a traditional marriage. What w call white weddmarriagehe traditional marriage of the English man and so called because the originator appeared in white dress on the day. The white man for example cannot tell a Chinese that his marriage is invalid because he didn't do o white wedding. But is a shame that we say that our marriage is invalid until we the englishman's traditional marriage and hence accept that the traditional marriage of the Englishman is superior to ours. Let it be known that there is nothing called church or Christian marriage. This because what makes you a chritain is notthe building inside which the rites are performed but the life you live. Let someone contradict me when I say that our lord Jesus Christ didn't attend a wedding (marriage) in cana Galilee but the feast called after the marriage was made. Go back and read where the marriage was made and who conducted the rites. It was not stated because it is in deed irrelevant. Hence people today perform their marriage+weddings in air pplanes, yatchs,by the sea side and even in secret place and their marriages subsist. Even marriages where less than ten people were invited to the merriments subsist. Those who were married before Jesus made them disciplines and those who married after they were made deciples, Jesus did not say he invalidated their marriages unless they came for him to perform the rite by himself. For the avoidance of doubt there is nothing wrong in anyone choosing and i mean choosing to adopt any number of different traditional marriages for his wife after all the Ghanian bba celebrity has already said he would three traditional marriage feast one 'white,' one 'black' in ghsna and another 'black' in the lady' s hometown having already had the marriage done after paying 25000$ or so plus other assorted items. It is only those who say that the English traditional marriage is what actually represent marriage in our clime DAT should told that the marriage took place before the couple were invited for the English traditional marriage and should best be called a bleeding of the marriage even though too the marriage had already bee blessed at the time of the marriage. People shohd re
member that the scripture said that people will abandon what God said and begin to teach doctrines

Memorise: And such were some of you:but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.
