  7. Buhari is a well known defender of boko haram. No one can forget his infamous "an attack on boko haram is an attack on the entire north" statement. I just hope he doesn't side with them against the nigerian military. That will be a costly mistake.

Buhari is d only president that publicly condemned boko haram as Godless pple and he is the first to relocate army command to the embattled North east states. 3. Femi Adeshina and Garba Shehu sent this message. They are his media aides. Very tactical. APC is very tactical with media. That is why they were so good at their media propaganda during the elections. What they do not realise now is that they have to match their words with actions unless it becomes useless or even provocating and inciting

The truth on boko haram will be revealed soon, but definitely not as you think.

  38. No matter how horrible what those soldiers are accused of, it is good to recognize that this is war and things like this are bound to happen especially when soldiers have to work in extreme conditions! let's not be quick to forget what happened in Hadita in Iraq some years ago. So this is not peculiar to Nigeria. Soldiers are humans too and can be expected to react the same way too.

There's no need to bring sentiments and blind patroitism into this case of lawlessness. Impunity and lawlessness have been engrafted in the culture of our military since the 60s. This was exactly the same way the Nigerian army massacred millions of igbos in the SE during the civil war. Even then, they came under international criticism and eventual embargo on sales of weapons by the US and it's western allies (except Russia). The same scenario is playing out again in this war against Boko haram. The army is a professional force and not a militia or crimininal gang, and so must follow statutory procedure in the discharge of their duties. The answer to lawlessness is not another lawlessness. This generational culture of lawlessness and impunity has to end now. Buhari has to correct this age-long misconduct of our forces now that he's a democrat.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Why is that there is no international body that punishes those that steal their people's monies and the countries that receive the monies? I hope Amnesty International is equally active in Yemen, Syria and Iraq compiling of records atrocities committed by the US, Iran, and Saudi Arabia against the Yemenis and Isis.

  50. All these PDP hoodlumps that always come to this blog to try and twist gist and criticise Buhari, you are wasting your time because Buhari will definately do better than Jonathan. You can only talk trash here but it will not stop Buhari from doing his work and bring change to Nigeria. It is just paining you people because Buhari stopped you people from carrying out your corrupt practices. So we understand. Hahahahahahahaha.....
