Angry friend takes to Facebook to name & shame a guy who ditched her in a restaurant to avoid the bill

Here's what happened; a lady invited a male friend to go eat dinner at an Italian restaurant. After ordering an expensive dish and eating his fill, the bill came and he asked her to pay for it. Irritated at his behaviour, she requested that they both pay for their respective meals. The guy said he was going out to get money to pay but never returned and what did the lady do? She shared the guy's pic on Facebook and shamed him...

    Why is she complaining, wasn't she the person that took the guy to the restaurant? Did the guy say that he wanted to go to the restaurant in the first place. The guy came to visit her and she couldn't even play host or what?

    See, it is not by force o. If you can't afford it then don't initiate it. If you must initiate it, then explicitly state the terms and conditions.
    "Bros, let's go to the restaurant, will you pay for the two of us or she could have said I only have money for myself. Do you have money for your meal. If not, make we cook eba and okro soup for house." Anyway sha it also depends on the rapport between the two.

    I am a woman but I won't dare invite a guy to a restaurant without explicitly stating the terms and conditions. Except if I can afford it. The girl should be ashamed of herself. She was looking for the maga that will pay for her meal but as a sharp guy, he fled.

    If u live in the UK, u will understand that splitting the bill is common practice. Even if the guy takes the girl out, the bill will be split, unless dude volunteers 2 pay 4 both. If u go 4 house parties, don't expect Mo gbor Mo ya like naija, uv got 2 bring ur own booze. That dude is a broke ass.     Sorry folks but in the UK regardless of who invites who unless it’s a romantic date each party pays for their own food unless one person offers after the waiter brings the bill. There is no such thing as maga or mugu cause everyone is capable of paying their own bill. If you can’t pay please stay at home. As a lady there is no time that I have been on a date and have not offered to pay and yes I always have my card or cash in my purse.     Majority of you ppl except my UK ppl are looking at this from the Nigerian prospective. UK is not the same as naija, Girls are not hungry and no one is looking for a hand out or mugu. You pay your way simple and do not expect a free ride from anybody. Both men and woman have to work hard to make money well real money not runz money. I know how many hours I have to work to eat, pay rent, transport, party and do my hair so I plan ahead. The lady in this situation could have paid but was stunned by the guys lack of self respect and lack of shame. Fact is a lot of Naija ppl no they shame.
