The hottest part of hell should be reserved for governors who live large at public expense - Ben Bruce

Ben Murray-Bruce is not done tweeting about Nigeria and her politics. In his most recent tweets, the media mogul turned politician says the hottest part of hell should be reserved for Nigerian governors who live large at the expense of their public servants. He also called for the removal of the immunity clause which protects serving government officials from arrest when they commit any crime. More tweets after the cut...

    6. Coughs fayose coughs. Only people who usually had money before, usually genuinely care for the masses as they are not trying to enrich themselves. Look at the calibre of people who run in the western world and compare them to the market women and men we have ruling us. I'm rooting for this guy.

    7. I agree that he's very correct. But saying it is different from doing it. I hope he's not saying all these just 'cos he feels like talking. Well, we'll see how well he performs when he gets to the senate.

  15. Ben Bruce should first tell Nigerians how he made his money when he was at NTA. Did he start the silver bird group on his salary. They should start with him and when he's been cleared, he can then talk. They are all the same.

  35. Oga Bruce, we are watching closely. No doubt you ve been making valid statements all through, but now power to make laws has been given to you. Its only when we hear the troubles you are causing NASS that we would believe you re in for real change. Trust me, 'you will not have a smooth ride', but we will put you up for CinC if you are going to make any difference in NASS. THE WIND OF CHANGE WILL GET TO YOU SOON.

  37. I do not understand why a governor will owe salary for months and you are comfortable not concerned how the workers manage to feed and pay their bills. Today they are laying blame on FG when they has been collecting their monthly allocation without fail.

  49. Can you imagine Osun State Governor is owing us half a year Salary and he pretends as if all is well. He has been waiting for an intervention from Buhari unfortunately no way forward from him. It is very disheartening. Many people have died and many are suffering with their family members. Hmmm...

  51. Having lived in Europe for only 3 months,I can say that these white people aren't as rich as Nigeria. Our country can afford to pay it's citizens as comfortably as Dubai does if only d largesse lifestyle that our politicians live can be reduced substantially. I weep when I call home and still hear the power supply problems.can Nigeria just change and have a breathe of fresh air nwhy will a governor as incompetent as T.A Orji be voted back into government? lord, help us

  52. I wonder where dis man called ben Bruce is coming from. They say charity begins at home. Pls treat ur workers as human's and not slaves pls. You hire and fire at will without benefits. You treat your workers like piece of shit and u have the guts to open your mouth to talk about the rich and the poor. Do you have conscience.

  53. This guy talks too much. Is this talkative behaviour a new fad or has he always talked too much but no one listened? Actions speak louder than words. Wait till you get there let us see the diff between you and them

  59. THE HUGE PERCENTAGE OF NIGERIANS THAT ARE SO FOOLISH IS MORE WORRISOME THAN THE STATE OF THE COUNTRY ITSELF... EVERY RIGHT THINKING HUMAN BEING WILL APPLAUD THE SENTIMENT OF THIS SENATOR, AS EVERYTHING HE HAS SAID IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE AND SOMETHING SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE SERIOUS ISSUES HE HAS RAISED. INSTEAD OUR PEOPLE ARE HERE CRITICIZING HIM BECAUSE OF THAT CHOP I CHOP SLAVERY MENTALITY THAT HAS DESTROYED THE COUNTRY FOR ALL OF IT'S EXISTENCE... THE FOOLISHNESS OF MOST OF US NIGERIANS IS SO DISTURBING.
