So sad! Classic FM OAP Sylvester Ojigbede (Sly) passes away

Popular morning presenter on Classic Fm Sylvester Ojigbede, popularly known as Sly has died. He died last night after a brief illness that had to do with his spinal chord. He leaves behind a wife and two children. May his soul rest in peace, amen.



His friend and co-host Tintin celebrated him with these words
"Sly ... The hardest worker I have ever worked with, my protégée, co-host and adopted nephew... It's nothing but smooth sailing now buddy! I'm hurting so bad, but at least I had the honor of seeing you in your final hours. Thank you for being such a good guy. Ciao Sly....Peaceful journey. RIP"

    Can't believe dis, remember back then in Command Ipaja after a game of basket ball, u held on to ur back and d next thing they had to take u home u hurt ur back. U came to school and after 2 weeks and said d Dr said u should avoid straining ur back.Then came d inter house sport competition u went ahead to sprint and it wus d same story,u went home again to get treated.When I saw last year after Deji Anifiwoshe's wedding we got talking and I remember I asked u how wus ur back hope getting to sit down all d time in d studio doesn't affect u anymore and he said to mi u still remember I use to have dat killing back pain back then in command. Could it b d same back pain that affected his spine leading to his death?     I was there last night at his last hour When doctors and even his wife were trying hard to sustain him. It wasnt easy after he left. Since I came to this hospital, just few days, more than 10pple gone. Life!!!
