Several flights delayed at Lagos airport due to aviation fuel scarcity

Quite a number of flights have been cancelled and some delayed this morning at the Murtala Mohammed Airport due to scarcity of Aviation fuel. Some passengers reached out to LIB saying they have been at the airport since 6.30 and have not been able to fly out.

FG has already requested that marketers get paid so why are they not releasing fuel? Even me sef, I don't have fuel at home. Biko marketers, don't make life more difficult for Nigerians.

  7. Linda people are tired of govt promises. You can't blame the marketers coz its been the way of the govt to always renege on their agreement and the incoming govt is made to suffer the brunt of those actions. It is not enough to promise. Let the govt pay biko.

  13. They should arrest them all the Ceos of this marketers and Charge them with treason. It's because of them we don't have a refinery, because of them we don't have Electricity, because they want to sell us Diesel and Petrol for our generator. This mafias are no more than 80 men and employs less than 10000 Nigerians. So because of 80 men 150milion people are suffering. Charge them with treason for holding the economy hostage and sabotage. If they are in Charge no one to sabotage refinery pipe lines and power plants gas pipes.

  38. You guys ain't getting this. What has aviation fuel got to do with government not paying marketers? Aviation fuel and diesel are not on the subsidy list. Marketers sell at their cost without any government intervention!!
