This LASTMA official was beaten by workers in an area in Ikorodu today. According to the twitter user who shared the photos, the LASTMA official was trying to arrest a man who he said broke traffic rules, but the driver refused to stop and quickly drove into the premises of the company where he worked. The LASTMA official followed the driver into the premises, started an argument with him and his colleagues and they descended on him after he refused to leave. Other passers-by came to his rescue. More photos after the cut...

ReplyDeleteAs a visitor, I observed that law enforcement agents can not really do much in ikorodu especially lastma official. The government needs to look into this. It's like they are scared of the drivers. Na wah ohhhhhh.
ReplyDeleteThat it is in development country! I wish you here and fall under so called LASTMAN and you will see how they will take your eye do sage! Nonsense people, they own pass the policeman, bloody civilian, full of illiterate and retired agbero calling themselves LASTMAN. One hold on to the vehicle I bordered from Oshodi to Egbeda on Wednesday at Ikeja along said he didnt pack-well before dropping passenger whereas he packed well, simply bcos he wanted to collect money from him. After passengers intervene he allow him to go and later codontor told us that he collected N500 from him and before we got the under bridge Dopemu our tyre busted as a result of Iron-nail the LASTMAN used to stop and punch the tyre unaware to us that he has done such evil act and still collect N500, he put all into ransomed and everybody find their levels. God go punish any wicked people that are in LASTMAN. Good for them.
