Photos: Burundi president plays football while his people are fighting over his third term bid

What a miserable man. Burundi president, Pierre Nkurunziza appears not to be bothered with the ongoing civil unrest, destruction and deaths happening in his country over his third term bid. He was photographed playing football with his close associates yesterday May 20th. More pics after the cut..

  32. He is symbolic of many African leaders only aware of their own interests and mildly aware of what affects their citizens; some of who would bleed for them. But they don't care cos power and money is what their type of leadership is based upon.
Again this makes me appreciate what GEJ did for Nigerians and indeed Igbo people!!!

We are so busy playing big brother to others while our issues threaten to swamp us.We need to fix us!

Instead of d people burning d country, and all dat they should simply vote him out during d election day. Simple as dat.

They hav d power let them exercise it instead of all dis exhibtions they r doing.

    1. why do you always comment stupidly. You think if it was that easy, they would not have done it?? d idiot will just simply rig the election again. Abi you think because Nigeria unseated an incumbent president, all African countries are like that. That is why they are doing all this so he won't contest at all. You think it's fun for the people to risk their life....mstchew.there is no time you have ever made sense with your comment.
