Outgoing Minister of Agriculture, Adesina elected 8th President, African Development Bank
Outgoing Minister of Agriculture Akinwunmi Adesina has been elected the 8th President of the African Development Bank after a keenly contested election in Cote D'Ivoire today May 28th.
The 1st Nigerian AfDB president! Finally we get to control!! No doubt many are mad but I like Adesina and look forward to seeing what he is capable of doing.
Yes! Yes! Yes!. Well deserved one for the outgoing minister. Adesina was one of the best ministers in Jonathan's administration. We are proud of you Sir.
Well deserved. congratulations my minister,we'll miss you in the ministry,Nigerian farmers will miss you. So this is it,if you work people will not say you didn't work unlike other ministers that were busy giving excuses for their failures.
He deserves it.He has really transformed the Agricultural sector to an extent with nice initiaves such as: (reducing the corruption involved in Fertilizer Subsidy), as well as ensuring incentives for Rice-cultivating farmers).
