Nigerians groan as transport fare is doubled due to persistent fuel scarcity

Nigerians are still feeling the bite of the persistent fuel scarcity as transportation fare for most public transport have been doubled and in some cases tripled. In Lagos, a LIB reader said he paid N400 to Oshodi from Mile 2 which normally will cost him just N100. Nigerians working on the Island this morning paid N500 from Ogba to CMS which normally will cost them N150-N200. In many cases, there are no buses to take them to their destinations.

  7. We can help but remain hopeful, Nigeria seems on autopilot till May 29th.
I'm optimistic because it gets this difficult when the solution is on sight.

  36. The issue of not fixing our refinery is due to corruption.to make money from the marketers and embezzle money too.at least repair one or two refineries or build more.Nigeria can afford it

  37. Jonathan is full of bitterness and anger.because he lost the election, secondly because the ppl sorrunding him messed him up big time, but he caused it.when you re married to a cow that controls you.the worst first Lady in the history of Nigeria.
