New photos of women and children rescued from Sambisa Forest

Here are new photos of the girls, women and children rescued from Sambisa forest. Some of them are currently in hospital receiving treatment for all kinds of illnesses while others have been moved into Internally Displaced Persons camps. More photos after the cut...

  5. What a sight, phew! They need closure, they need serious attention.
    Who could have believed that asides the Chibok girls other people were abducted by the terrorists, no body to champion their cause.
    Even the Chibok issue was dismissed by many as scam.
    We lost our humanity, we lost our sense of empathy because of politics.
    May posterity be fair in judging my generation.

  8. I can't even begin to imagine what these women and children have been through! I pray that God almighty heals them internally and gives them the strength to forget the past and move on with their lives! I feel so sad for them, but, life must go on.

    Beyond wicked. And they kidnapped them and kept them under such horrible living conditions. I know most are glad to be free now but pls naija intelligence should still watch them closely. There is a reason they kidnapped them. They have trained them on some things

  41. The soooo cute baby covered in blue cloth brought tears to my eyes. It brought me hope that things will be much better in this country and that there will be PEACE and LOVE eventually.

    God bless the Nigerian Army and it's soldiers for risking all their lives to save Sambisa Abducted.

    For once, this lovely baby and the rest can now sleep peacefully. We must Never loose hope.Never!
