Janet Jackson's husband throws her a surprise birthday party as she turns 49

Janet Jackson thought she was just on a date night with husband Wissam Al Mana when the pair headed out for a sushi dinner on May 16. Instead Janet found herself at a surprise birthday party her businessman husband put together for her 49th birthday at L.A.’s Hyde Lounge.

30 of her closest family and friends were in attendance.

'Janet thought they were just having a sushi date night,' a source explained.
 
Among the guests was her brother Jermaine Jackson, 60, who was dressed in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton
.
The source also revealed that the pop star had not one but “two beautiful cakes,” and partied until 1:30 in the morning.
