Another soldier dies during Boko Haram attack (photos)

Corporal Cosmas died from injuries he sustained while fighting Boko Baram militants in Maiduguri, Borno state yesterday May 14th. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

He was one of our commandants during my service year in Akwa Ibom.. he was such a nice guy n actually assisted me in getting a place in d ministry.. just look at how this country is wasting away our soldiers on a platform of only God knows what.. RIP Gallant soldier.. d idiot who fired d bullet tht took ur soul will surely die of leprosy. Zeggy says so

  12. OMG Cosmos... God why??? My favourite soldier back when I was serving in 6battallion Army Barracks Akwa-Ibom. Just spoke to him dis easter when he came back,didn't know he was going back to Borno again...May his soul RIP!

  19. He was my platoon commandant @AkwaIbom camp.. a very nice man, my good friend. He got posted out a day before we left camp. I remember him crying when he was telling me. He said it would be for just 4 to 6months. It's past one year now. 1year et 2months. Though there was no network coverage @ area, he still found a way to keep in touch. Would miss u.

  49. my able platoon6 commandant in Akwa Ibom NYSC Batch B 2013. with grief in ma hrt and all others that u served I cant but remember all our good times how we go to mami market, how u helped me when I was down, u were so kind and compassionate, u never allow anyone bully we platoon 6, u always say believe that we will make it and we shld be courageous, u were not just a leader u were our frnd, u were our father while in camp, May ur gentle soul cos u are gentle may it continue to RIP. till we meet to part no more
