Supporters Throng Ambode's Office To Celebrate APC Victory

Change is in the air. It is a new dawn and all over the country, people are getting caught up in the excitement and expectation. This was evident today as supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos thronged the campaign secretariat of the party's governorship candidate in Gbagada, Lagos to celebrate the party's victory in the presidential elections.

The large crowd of supporters danced & sang songs of victory and repeatedly chanted "Sai Nigeria", "Sai Baba", and "Ambo", the slogan of Akinwunmi Ambode.

The highpoint was the arrival of the man himself, Akinwunmi Ambode. The crowd erupted in chants of "Ambo" and clung to his car. Akinwunmi Ambode obliged the supportes and came out of his car to salute them. This further excited the already frenzied crowd who chanted "Ambo" "Ambo".
The supporters expressed confidence that the APC's victory will bring positive change to Nigeria. They added that victory for Akinwunmi Ambode come April 11, will bring further development and progress to Lagos, especially now that there will be an APC government at the centre.

Ambode enjoined the supporters to remain united in their common quest for a new Nigeria. He said, "This is not the time to express hate in any form. Nigerians have shown impressive readiness to make our country work again. We must remain united in this one purpose to make our nation great."

Speaking on the importance of continuity, American author Michael Porter once said:

"The thing is, continuity of strategic direction and
continuous improvement in how you do things
are absolutely consistent with each other. In
    fact, they're mutually reinforcing."

Evidently, this quote in relation to the Lagos State Governorship election is proof that the only way to guarantee continued progress and development is the continuity in good governance provided for us Lagosians by the tenure of our dear Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Akinwunmi Ambode is the man which the trusted All Progressive Congress have ordained to succeed our dear governor. And when ever have the APC failed to deliver a man that is truly competent, a proven Democrat and also an ardent follower of the rule of law? The answer is never!

I enjoin my fellow Lagosians to come out our vast numbers and speak with our thumb prints as we vote in a man that is well and truly keen on taking Lagos State to greater Heights. God bless us all.

  33. its not about the Party but the person. every reasonable and intelligent person should know that JK will deliver. He is far way intelligent and eloquent, he is in the class of Fasola. if we really want the change then JK is the change. we should be tired of having APC as the ruling party in Lagos. we pray for a peaceful free and fair election come April 11th.

  34. Lagos state needs a change as well. jimi Agbaje for governor. His bold ideas are quite visionary.
