Richard Mofe-Damijo clarifies on false rumours of his decamp to APC

Yesterday, the twitter handle of the APC Guber candidate in Delta State, O'tega Emerhor claimed RMD had left the PDP for APC. I contacted RMD for confirmation and he outrightly denied it. He later took to twitter to set the record straight. See his tweets after the cut...

  18. If everyone keeps defecting, nigeria will become a one party state...
I think APC should take it easy on all those running to join dem

When u mix old wine with new one, u spoil the taste... this PDP defectors are just selfish people
If APC should loss the presidency in 2019, they will still run back to d winning party

My advice is, opposition should remain not just PDP other parties should also come up with strategies or merge and form something as big like what APC did

We need critics and dat cant happen if everybody belongs to same party

  26. Lol why do I have a feeling that he will soon defect to APC but prefers the news to be broken by him first.
I don't like the way loyal PDP members are trooping toAPC.This isn't the change we voted for. They'll soon pollute the CHANGE with their greed and inordinate ambition

  27. All these politicians are can lie. All to get people to vote for them.

These are the type of people we put in office to govern us. It's a pity.

Stay strong and united and rebuild d party that once made you who are today. cheers

    ReplyDelete
  51. I do not think RMD is a party man, he was given an office by pdp, from the twitter post one may suggest he has plan to decamp but let's wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  52. He will defect if Emerhor wins but will sit home and eat chips if Emerhor lose. Political prostitutes!

    ReplyDelete
  53. There is an element of truth in whatever we hear. He may deny it for now, but it is true that he was planning to decamp. He won't admit it to you now - even if you were his mother. The wind of change is now blowing in PDP's camp. They are all decamping to APC gradually. They are all THIEVES.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Seriously, the man did not clarify anything. Rather, he suggested that he might or already defected to APC. www.abimboladebayo.com

    ReplyDelete
  55. if RMD Godfather AYiri defect who he be,RMD is APC 101%. Unless he want suck garri for Delta State.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The man has defected. He will vote for APC, he is only playing the ostrich and he is double-dealing

    ReplyDelete
  57. He doesn't sound convincing though, the days ahead will tell.
